Guys,
Have been using boge LR cartos. I am using Riva. These have been best vaping experience till now. Would like to try LR atty with a drip tip.
Which one do you prefer cisco 306 LR atty or Joytech 306 LR atty?
I see that some are experiencing lips getting heat with some drip tips.
Shall I go for XL drip tip? If so I am I compromising on TH and Vapor?
I am guessing the LR atty will be taking liquid quickly due to low resistance. How many hits will I get for 5 drops? Shall I keep on adding drops to continue vaping? I usually vape every hour and not a chain vaper and would like to have good TH.

Not sure you are going to run into many people that have used both the Joye 306 and the Cisco 306 low resistance atomizers.

Putting in 5 drops at once might flood the atomizer, but I don't know for sure because I have never used those atomizers.
Also, how many hits you get will depend on a number of factors, including the size of your drops and how big of a drag you take.

For instance, I usually put 3 drops on my 510 and get around 6 drags.
Others put anywhere from 2 to 4 drops on their 510s and some people get as many as 10 drags or more.

I have several LR atties. One of them being the Cisco 306. I wouldn't recommend using 5 drops with any 306 or 510 sized atty, since it will probably flood it. But for about 3 drops you could get a good 6 hits since it heats up so fast.

What I'm currently using is an eGo Mega LR atty. Those can take about 5 - 6 drops since the diameter is so huge. I get about 10 - 12 bellowing clouds of chain vapes. TH is great too.

I just got the Cisco 1.5ohm LR 306 atties from avid vaper. He currently has a 2x attie + drip tip for 20 bucks deal. They are a little warmer, but I like them a lot more than the joye 510 LR I was using before (It died on me and prompted me to buy the cicsos). As a plus the cisco spec atties come primer free so you get great flavor and performance from the very first draw. The only time you'd want to put say 5 drops in is when the atty is dry (such as when its brand new or after you have blown it out/cleaned it) otherwise just 3 drops to refill.

The vapor is warmer and your lips are closer to the coil but I haven't experienced any discomfort or anything. They do sell XL drip tips that others have said help with that if it is something that you think will bother you. Good luck and Vape On!

Edit: You shouldn't experience any flavor or TH loss with the XL tip. It merely moves your lips a little farther away from the coil to reduce the chances of feeling too much heat. Yes, LR atties will consume more juice. You will get the hang of when to refill as you get more experience with dripping. When the flavor starts to change and the vapor drops off its time to add a few more drops. It doesn't take long to get the hang of it. Hope this helps.

+1 TJ (my sig says it all)

A rule of thumb (Cisco imo are the best) for all attys for long life is to blow out the machine oil (in case of joye) and then prime them with 3-4 drops. I use a self-juicer but still prime my new attys always. MY LRs last me months.

I drip whenever I'm not in the car, (that's what cartos are for - don't drip and drive!). I use Joye 510 attys @ 6v, and I've found that pretty much any metal drip tip transfers too much heat to my lips. So, I pretty much always stick with either Delrin or plastic tips whenever I'm vaping at 6v.

Vaping at 3.7v, I have no problems with any drip tips getting too warm.
