Want2Vape Vapenstein Managua 0MGnicotine/ 15ml
I’ve already reviewed this one at length. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/e-liquids/191114-want2vape-vapenstein-managua-15ml-0mg-nicotine.html
I’m still enjoying Managua.
Would I purchase again? Yes.

Want2Vape Vapenstein London 0MG/ 15ML
It was with great excitement I tore into this flavor. What’s not to like about a premium extracted tobacco e-liquid made by tobacco lovers for tobacco lovers? In my case, there’s quite a bit not to like. The predominant note in this juice is burning rubber with a slight aftertaste of acrid dirty socks. I know other folks enjoy this juice immensely, and so it kind of makes me wonder if I got a bad bottle. Truly, this stuff is sickening. I let it steep for a week or so, but this juice is not improving.
Would I purchase again? No.

Want2Vape Vapenstein Stockholm 0MG/ 15ML
I keep going back and forth on this flavor. Do I like it? Do I not like it? It changes from day to day with me. Stockholm is a bright tobacco vape with a dash of anise. I really enjoy the tobacco flavor. Sometimes I like the anise and sometimes it comes across as way too sharp. When the anise note from Stockholm strikes me the wrong way it reminds me of when a cook adds too much fennel to meat. That sharp flavor blocks everything else out and the result is unpleasant. I’m hoping with some time the anise note will fade by 10-20%. Should that happen, this would be a nice fresh tobacco vape thankfully free of that peanutty sweet flavor that most tobacco vapes seem to have. Should steeping bring out more of the anise note, this juice will be unvapable to me.
Would I purchase again? Time will tell.

Want2Vape Milk Chocolate 0MG/ 10ML
When I first tried this juice, I couldn’t stand it. The artificially sweet saccharine like flavor was overwhelming to the point that it made me slightly ill. Now that it has sat for a bit I have revised my opinion from ‘total garbage’ to ‘meh, it’s ok.’ The flavor reminds me of a weakly mixed glass of chocolate milk. Yeah, there’s chocolate there but it’s pretty mild. That sort of faint praise makes it sound as though I don’t like the juice at all. Not so. I like to mix this one with other juices to liven both flavors up. If with further steeping the chocolate flavor becomes more prominent, and that last little bit of artificial sweetener fades away, this could be a pretty good juice.
Would I purchase again? At this point, no. I like it as a mixer but not enough to plunk down more money.

Want2Vape Alcazar 0MG/ 10ML

This is good. Really good. If you like maduro cigars, stop reading and go purchase this juice. It has that coffee-esque bitter and dark chocolate flavor suggestion I find so appealing about maduros. Having said that, this is not a sweet juice. There is no hint of artificial sweetners or that all too familiar nut flavoring found in so many tobacco juices. I like Alcazar slightly less than Managua as Alcazar has a sharp nearly acidic note on exhale that I’m not a fan of whereas Managua is smooth from start to finish. However, Managua is on limited run and Alcazar looks as though it’s here to stay. Therefore, Alcazar edges out Managua in my preference simply due to future availability.
Would I purchase again? Yes.

Want2Vape Blondie 0MG/ 10ML
Blondie is just like Stockholm in that I can’t decide if I like it or not. This cigar vape has a distinct floral note that sometimes comes across as musty and dusty. What I like about Blondie is the tobacco flavor is rich and rings true, but then I keep getting a floral and sometimes dusty flavor. My taste buds just can’t decide what they think. Is Blondie brilliant or a bust? I don’t know. I’ll give this juice credit though, I keep coming back to sample it when I’d generally give away or straight up toss a juice I don’t care for right away.
Would I purchase again? Right now, today? No. Ask me again tomorrow, I might have a different answer. This juice also reminds me of Boba’s Bounty in the regard that I can’t ever decide from day to day whether I like Boba’s or not. One day the stuff tastes good and hits the spot. The next day I can’t stand it. For the record, I do keep Boba’s on hand. I may feel the same about Blondie eventually, just not today.

I have really enjoyed my Want2Vape experience, btw. I have had terrible luck finding juices that I would even bother to try a second time. Usually I sample a flavor and it is either given away or tossed in the trash. I’ve spent hundreds on juices from various vendors. This order from Want2Vape is the first time I have purchased juices that I didn’t feel like I’d totally ...... away a bunch of money. While some of their flavors may not be for me, at least the juices match the descriptions on the Want2Vape website for the most part. I would say consistency is a key characteristic for Want2Vapes juices, therefore I can comfortably recommend them.

ETA: All flavors vaped on my trusty stock Riva510.

Newbz,

I am similarly conflicted about want2vape. On the one hand, I have immense respect for Todd as a hard-working artisan juice-maker, with an extraordinary aesthetic sensibility for unique blends. He is among the founding fathers of that small but growing club of vendors who make and use natural tobacco macerations/extractions to create flavors that are simply worlds ahead of most of the chemist's lab artificial tobacco flavorings. And his non-tobacco juices are often stunning as well. W2V Crème Brûlée, Tabak Especial, and RY4 are absolutely delicious for my palate.

But there's another side to the coin. W2V's cigar vapes are a case in point. Blondie and Alcazar certainly get my attention and scream of quality, but I'm not altogether sure that I LIKE them. When I want to change juices (which is about every ten minutes), I go through the stash of 50 filled and labeled cartos on my desk, but I tend to skip over Blondie and Alcazar. Same with the chewing tobacco maceration Red Pirate. I mean, they're good, BUT... Further, both Morley and Rock Star left me cold. Then recently I ordered two of the new Vapenstein blends with very high hopes after the anticipatory hype, but both London and Managua made me scratch my head and say, "Huh?"

So know that you're not alone in feeling conflicted. Curiously, I don't feel that same conflict about other good vendors where I like only some of their juices. But somehow, I want to love all of Todd's juices. I guess in reality that is too much to ask or expect.

I haven't gotten into my Managua yet but I will try it out soon. I also found London to be a loser for me. Some days it does taste really good but then quickly loses its appeal. Other days, it just tastes too... spicy? I'm not sure where to place the flavor but most days I don't find it pleasant. I also agree completely about the Stockholm. The days in which the anise is toned down, it tastes great! The days where the anise really shines brightly; Can't stand it.

Looks a bit hit or miss so far for me... I'm going to continue to let it steep and see how it turns out!

i bought london and managua from the new vapenstein line. I'm not sold on the London but the managua is good. It actually tastes like a great premium cigar.

I think Alcazar misses this because Alcazar isn't really a good cigar to begin with. I asked a lot of cigar smokers if they'd ever heard of this cigar. All answered no. That's why I'm not a fan.

Blondie and Tabac Especial taste like the cigars they are extracted from. What a lot of people don't know is that both are premium flavored cigars. If you don't like flavored cigars, you're not going to like them. Acid (maker of Blondie cigars) cigars are all flavored. You either hate them or love them. Tabac Especial cigar is somewhat sweet. It is a coffee infused cigar. However, it's not a vape coffee flavor so many people don't think it's there.

I have not yet tried the Managua. I hope they still have some left when I get paid. I have tried the London. I like the flavor, but I wish it were a tad bit stronger. Maybe it just needs to steep a little more, or maybe It's supposes to be subtle( subtle and I don't always get along). I'm vaping it on a Red Sky vv mod at 4.7 with a Joye 510 2.5 atty. I will be revisiting it in a couple of weeks. As for the other stuff I've tried from them, I love the Blondie, and i like the Alcazar a lot.

I'm sorry but want2vape is the only vendor I would never order from again. I ordered their sampler, even though they don't allow all of their flavors to be sampled, and I just wasnt impressed, at all. Out of all of the flavors that I sampled only rock star, ry4, and creme brûlée were ok. Most of the flavors tasted very generic to me. Some of them I just couldn't vape at all. None of them reached out and grabbed me like NLVs Bounty Hunter, PVs Love From Above, AVEs Bobas, KBVs Omg, etc.

It seems like most quality vendors not only generally have great tasting juices, but they also have that one flavor that just grabs you. It may be your everyday vape or a rare treat, but you know that flavor I'm talking about. Maybe I was just disappointed that I was looking for W2Vs special flavor and didn't find it, but then none of their flavors did much for me at all.
I didn't taste all of their flavors though because for some odd reason they don't allow you to sample any of their Vapenstein blends.

Maki,

I think many fans of w2v might feel that "premium tobacco" vapes (based on real extracts from cigar, pipe, and even chewing tobaccos) are Donley's specialty. There's no one juice that stands out, though. All of them are very distinctive: ACID Blondie, Alcazar, Tabak Especial, Red Pirate, London, Stockholm, and Managua. Yes, the three Vapensteins aren't available in the sampler pack, but if you didn't like any of the other tobaccos from your sampler bottles, you probably wouldn't like those either. I like some and don't like others in that group, but I appreciate the creativity of Donley's work as a juice-maker. And---like so many of the vendors in this young cottage industry of vaping---he's a good guy as well. Donley cares about what he sells and goes the extra mile to make his customers happy.

(In no way do I mean to imply that you should keep trying w2v juices. I agree that the specific juices you mentioned by other vendors are all superlative, so if w2v's sampler just didn't ring your bell, it makes perfectly good sense to move on.)

I keep hearing about this Love from Above. Is this a 'nutty' type tobacco?

Strangely, Alien Visions E-Juice 's Boba's Bounty smells like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich to me, even though the flavor is raw honey plus tobacco. I do not get even a hint of nutty from Boba's even though it smells like peanuts.

I'm also curious about Bounty Hunter.

newbz,

The flavor profile of Love from Above is very difficult for me to identify or categorize. It might have a nutty component, or even cocoa, but none of the flavors in the mix is distinct, even though the overall effect is amply flavorful. The tobacco isn't sharp, but it does have a certain "Turkish blend" brusqueness that (to me) is sometimes appealing and other times not so endearing. Dr. Vapenstein likened it to BWB Casablanca, and I too taste that resemblance. While not obviously sweet, it reminds me of sweetness.

With Bounty Hunter, the tobacco stays more in the background, while the vanilla and white- or yellow-cake flavors lead the charge on inhale, infused with a pleasing sweetness (partially from the rich vanilla, but perhaps from other subtler flavors as well---honey, cotton candy, or even marshmallow are all possibilities). The vanilla becomes creamier after the exhale to linger on the palate between tokes. What really gets me (and makes me want to take another toke, then another, and yet another...) is the sheer seductiveness of that creamy, tongue-coating aftertaste. More than just a sweet dessert vape, Bounty Hunter is definitely special.

Ive been meaning to try the blondie, if anybody is familiar with acid cigars the blondies are the littler guys and have a floral/herbal note to them (one of my favorites as far as cheaper cigars go). I heard that they got the flavor pretty spot on so I might go grab one at the local cigar store and test them out to see if it's true to it's name and how much I like it

I just got some samples in and I'm really liking the Blondie. So much so that I'm tempted to goto the smoke shop and pick up a couple of the cigars. And thats from somebody who didn't smoke cigars. Kinda reminds me of incense, patchouli and weed all mixed together. Takes me back to college nights with hippie coeds! Whats not to love about that? Their Campfire Coffee is the only coffee juice I've liked so far.

Pick one up, blondies are usually only $3.50 and a very nice mellow, incensy, floral kinda. Theyre hard for me to explain exactly but I'll be ordering a bottle of this juice to test. From your description I feel I'll love it.

I stopped and got of couple of the cigars. Smoked one on the way home. It was pretty enjoyable but like I said I was never a cigar smoker. I think I enjoy the juice more. I'll save the other one for my fantasy football draft 8) The shop has a ton of empty boxes for sale $1 for cardboard and $2 for the wodden ones. I bought 4 of the wood ones. Figured they'd be good for storing juices and mod parts. Can't go wrong for that price.
