This is what cinnamon (and some other liquids) can do to a vivi nova:

I now only use glass or polypropylene tanks. I don't care for the metal sleeves available for the novas, since the juice level isn't visible.

I put some cinnamon juice in my mini vivi nova and didn't have any initial issues. Once I emptied and cleaned my nova's however the tubes turned a milky white. This reminds me I gotta order some new ones.

I didn't realize how badly injured the little nova was until I took it outside to photograph and set it next to a new one. I feel so guilty for making it suffer while I happily vaped away...:(

Hot cinnamon from ESO. Link my sig. Been using it in my nova for 3+ weeks. No nova degradation.

Not all cinnamon/banana/citrus/etc., can cause a problem. Vendors use different recipes. Since I like a number of cinnamon-based flavors, I use tanks. I only use my novas for juices I know for sure won't react.

o.o i honestly wouldn't want to vape something that could do that to plastic, which is a whole lot tougher than my poor little feeble lungs.

My lungs aren't made of polycarbonate, so I don't worry about it. You can drink Coke and also use it to clean the terminals on a car battery...
