I have been looking at the k100 and a few other mods but don't want to order one and be disappointed also which is better an rda or an rba?? It's technically the same thing.. RBA - Rebuildable atomizer, RDA Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer. The only difference is there are ones without tanks and some with tanks. Kayfun, Russian 91% and taifun are tank rbas, Also known as RTA - Rebuildable Tank Atomizers. RDA's are like the Nimbus, W3, Helios etc.

Are you looking into getting an RBA with a tank? I suggest the Kayfun lite+. Best flavor and vape i've gotten and I haven't looked back to my old clearos since then.

if your looking for a dripper, I'd go with a Nimbus XL clone from Bevapehappy.com, Patriot, or a Helios. Bigger surface area on the deck gives you more space to get your coils even and lookin pretty.

For a mod, a k100 or k101 will do fine. although I've seen people putting dents on the battery because the firing pin is so skinny and some people tend to push down harder on it as if it will deliver more power Lol.

For a mechanical mod I'd say check out the Magneto, Telescoping, Magnetic button that is smooth, Brass contacts and the new ones have Adjustable 510 connection.

Other than that the Nemesis is a great mod ( which I vape on everyday with my Kayfun lite + ) or you could look into getting a launcher V2, Private v2, King mod is also a great mod for any user.

Mainly it comes down to the Conductivity of the contacts and the design whether it be Telscoping or fixed, or the Material it's made out of, SS, Brass, copper Etc.

i would definitely be interested in seeing the photo's and any additional info... i can't seem to find anything about it online. also can't find any official comparison testing yet..definitely last longer but i don't push the envelope under .6 ohm.

This is all about getting started in mechs for cheap. I am in the same boat, and wanted to dip my toes before shelling out lots of dough. This is in no way what you should get. Just the cheapest way to kinda safely get into mechs. Note that the batteries are 10A, so stay near 1ohm if you do go sub. As others have said learn learn learn before you pull the trigger.

Mech Mod: Sigelei #1
Ordered this but not received yet. May melt in my hands for all I know but it's the cheapest mech I found.

Dripper: IGO-W
I have the IGO-W and it is a great dripper for the money. You will want to drill out the holes though.

Battery: Panasonic PF
These are the cheapest and most easily found batteries that I see people using in mechs. They are not true high drain but will work if you don't push the limits. Get the Sony VTC4 if you can.

Charger: Nightcore i2
Common and well reviewed charger. Have on order but not yet received.

This is my first post, so I will try and make it meaningful. I have been vaping about 8 months now. I recently dived into the rebuildable world and did exactly what everyone has suggested above me. I purchased 2 different IGO-Ws, both have different drilled air holes. The Mechanical mod is a K100. I have a 1.3 ohm twisted 30 gauge coil in it right now, and it vapes pretty well. I am impressed with the K100, it's cheap and works well. Good luck!

In a lot of cases if it can take an 18650.... It can take an 18500 with a kick...which the kick would then regulate the wattage...

Honestly, if it were me...and I were worried about durability.... I would save up a little and spend more....look at the Super T 18650 simplicity or their ELA and their strata rebuildable...which replaces the top cap and turns it into a hybrid....

Those have a lifetime warranty, down to the finish...are stainless, with rhodium plated contacts...
