Wanting to step up from my aspire Platinum Kit....any recommendations?

When I first started vaping right around 8 months ago I purchased the Aspire Platinum kit as I liked how everything came in the box and only needed to purchase liquid. I like the way it hits. I'm currently using the new ATOM gClaptons .5 ohm gold plated coils in the Atlantis tank. I must say that these coils have dramatically improved the vapor production and especially the flavor!! For some reason tho I feel like I'm puffing on it a lot more and draining my battery quicker. Ive done a little research on some of the smaller box mods out there and I really like the IPD V2 but the only downfall is that it only holds 1 battery and I hear it runs out quickly. With my current setup (aspire Atlantis) I'm vaping at around 25-35 watts with the current .5 ohm coils. I'm currently vaping on 6mg nic 70/30 VG/PG and feel like I'm having to take huge draws to get the "throat hit". Should I try 8mg nic or would a new box mod fix that problem? I'm curious if I get a. 40-50 watt mod if I will get the bigger hits without drawing on it as long. I'm not really sure how that all works. I'm curious what a good step up would be for me from my Aspire sub ohm w Atlantis tank?? I'm open to any and all reccomendations and ideas. I'm not ready to get into RDA's and RTA's quite yet so for the sake of this thread we can leave those out. Thanks a lot!!

The Atlantis V1 shines around 30 watts due to its airflow and atomizer design. You could try a 50/50 or 60/40 (PG/VG) blend to utilize higher wattages and possibly increase throat hit.

Bump up the PG in the mix first, maybe 50/50. Stay in the same wattage range and see if that improves things for the throat hit. And I suspect that you're hitting more often not because you're lacking the nicotine hit but because it's so darned enjoyable.
