I started with a SmokeStik (4080 battery and cartomizer) and like it... I can carry it in a shirt pocket discreetly... I like the cartomizer and have been refilling them without an problems... I don't like the battery life, just too short... And, I can go through a 4080 carto in a couple hours... I am looking for something that last longer, battery wise... Uses a cartomizer, holding more juice would be a big plus... I need something that can be carried very discreetly in a shirt pocket, pen style I guess... What animal am I looking for??

Since the eGo/Riva is no bigger than a small cigar, that would be an obvious upgrade. Other than that, you are pretty limited with your "shirt pocket" restriction because better battery life is relative to size due to current battery technology. However, I could carry my 5 volt box mod in my shirt pocket since it is only 2 and a half inches by 1 and a half inches in size. It is a little heavier, however.

I guess I would rather not pay more money unless I am getting vastly improved performance. Which in this business means getting a good variable volt PV. That is the future of vaping, IMO.

Riva 510 with boge 2 ohm 510 cartomizers is nice. If you prefer automatic batteries, perhaps KR808D-1 XL/mega (380 mAh batteries) -- I've had good luck with vapor4life, NHaler, vaporetc with 808 products. The G400 from HNaler is a bit pricey, but solid, and they are 900 mAh automatic 808 batteries.

Since I have a riva and am currently using it (the only pv I have). I will tell you that for a first pv it is great. It got me to stop analogs. As far as an upgrade, I don't think you will be happy. The battery does last me most of the day, but to me its missing something. I am not bashing the ego/riva, so please don't tell at me everyone :) . When I ordered mine I also bought an ego mega cartomizer. It works like a charm and lasted me all day and maybe the next morning. It holds 2ml of liquid and with the 750mah it is about 4 1/2" in total length. So that might work for as far as holding more liquid if you decide to buy the ego/riva. I have had my stuff for about a month and I am already looking to upgrade. Personally I don't like the cold vapor that I get with it. I have tried attys, carto's, almost everything and to me it's just missing that heat, and I was a menthol smoker (i love saying was a smoker!). It really is not as big as the pics make it seem. The 750 mah batters are only about 2 1/2" long and its about 1/2" in diameter. Keep searching and you will find what works for you! Sorry for rambling on.
