Hi just joined this group.I'm on warfarin just hope it doesn't interact with the warfarin but can't see how if it don't go into blood stream.does it.?

If you already monitor yourself because of the Warfarin, diet,etc you should not have any additional issues you didn't have as a smoker. However, when in doubt, consult a qualified physician.

I am NOT a medical professional by any stretch of the imagination, but a little poking around indicates that NICOTINE usage with warfarin have no direct interaction. Nicotine is a stimulant, which can increase your heart rate. However, if you reduce your nicotine intake, you might need to have your warfarin adjusted accordingly.

SMOKING throws in other chemicals that affect other systems within the body that can have adverse results.
