I'm wondering if there is something I can do to get a warmer vape from the ego-t. I just so happen to have a halo g6. I gotta say it is incredible. Thought I would like the ego better but I seem to get more flavor and a warmer vape which is very satisfying. The better flavor could be a result of the cart in g6 being new. However I'm afraid I may have to part with the ego if I'm unable to tweek it.

Use a dual coil carto if your eGo can handle it. Or just get a better battery PV that provides much more power and thus much more warmth than that little eGo battery. A good 5 volt PV such as the GLV2 or a good variable volt such as the Darwin would be a huge upgrade in warmth and performance.
There's no tweeking a tank that I know of. The only tweeking I can suggest is to get rid of it.
Get a box of dual coils, Boge or, Ikenvape.com's cartomizers. Now that's what I call flavor, nice warm vapor, and plenty of TH.

+1 on the cartos. Also, if you want to use the G6 cartos you can get an adaptor to use the 808 on a 510 batt at LF for a few bucks.
eGo-T user here. I was having a similar issue when I first got my tank set up. It was a huge step up from the disposables that I had been using before, but it still wasn't producing enough vapor/flavor/TH for me. About a week after I got it, I decided to order a few LR Attys. They're 1.7 ohms, vs the 2.5 of the standard resistance.
If you're using a Type-A tank set-up, altsmoke carries LR attys. I've also got some boge 2.0 ohm cartos, and the two are pretty comparable...except that the tanks require re-filling Much less frequently.

Yes, keep the battery and get rid of the tank and cartridge.
Dual coil is cartomizer (tube with filler and heating coil that you fill with juice) ... I like keeping a drip tip on it, but don't recommend filling it with the tip on. Good heat with these on my 510 T batt.
I also like the clearomizers (same concept as cartomizer but clear case and no filler so you can see the juice in it) but they aren't as warm though they're not too bad as the coil is basically inside your mouth if you don't put some kind of mouthpiece on it
Yes indeed...The tank is cool for about a day or so but then you realize the convenience isn't worth the satisfaction lost from using the product...I haven't been fortunate enough to try Duals yet, but Boges are AMAZING..Everyone says they loko weird at first, but I dig it, especially with my drip tip
You could try the ego-t type B LR atties. They give a pretty warm vape since they're 1.8 ohms.
See, I'm using boge cartos, 2.0 ohms, and the LR tank attys. Other than the fact that some of the flavors taste better on one system or the other, I do prefer the tanks for out-and-about. Cartos are cool, but refilling them every hour or so gets old really fast.
Add an Ego Booster (shameless plug) . Seriously, the EB allows you to control exactly how hot you want your vape to be. Before I got the ego booster, I found I liked the LR Ego-t for a balance of heat and taste. The experience with the Ego Booster blows that away, total control of the heat depending on the juice.

LR tank atty is not much hotter than a normal tank atty. I do not reccommend you invest in a LR tank atomiser for heat. It's too long so by the time it gets to you it's too cool and really no different to a normal one. It's more vapour, NOT more heat for tank atties only because they're so long.
No dual coil I've used on an ego has worked for the exception of the ego dc from madvapes and it is a very cool vape, about the equivalent of a 3ohm cartomiser on an ego. The ego just doesn't have the power to run a dcc. It's pitiful wet vapour that's just awful to inhale. I wouldn't reccommend these to an ego user. Maybe I've just extremely bad luck but 8 dccs not working with my ego is proof enough to me they're not gonna work on an ego.
Clearomisers are great for heat but unless you're up for taking it apart, dealing with it leaking, modding it and making tubes for them yourself they are by far more hassle than a cartomiser. If you're up for the hassle they are pretty amazing for dripping on and if you cut the inner tube they will wick no problem but leaking has always been an issue with them for me.
Cartomisers are most definately the way to go.

You can use a 510 - 901 adapter (yes, 901 allows a 808 cartomiser on it) from liberty flights or any supplier selling them and use a g6/volt cartomiser on your ego. I do the exact same thing, and this way you only buy one set of cartomisers not two and save yourself some money you would have wasted on a LR tank that does nothing extra in terms of heat or a 510 cartomiser you don't actually need to have seperately if you're buying 808s too.

I'm considering getting an ego booster. They sure sound nice, though they'll make my ego and tanks a bit longer than I'd like. (Right at 6 inches now, that would make it 8.)
But I must admit, it worries me that the only source is in Canada. I was reading earlier about Canada confiscating someones shipment because they have laws/regulations/whatever about e-cigs. For all I know, they'll confiscate my order too, and I'm just out the money.

There should be no problem getting an ego booster exported. Their shipment was only held because it had nicotine in it which isn't allowed to be imported to canada. If it had no nicotine they "shouldn't" be able to hold just the electronics.
You're fine ordering electronics from canada as an export.
