Spaced 24ga is about all I use. Occasionally I'll throw twisted 26ga in just for fun, or spaced 26ga for smaller atties. Usually N80, but I use ss316 sometimes. That's all that I'm building now, and I have a 200 watt regulated mod. Go figure.
I was using a brand new efest 3000 mAh.

Wish more mods would turn all the way off.Good to know. I'll make sure I kill the battery connection when I'm not using mine. Did you have any problems with the button sticking in the past? Or any juice leaking incidences? How old is it? Glad you didn't get hurt.
I've had plenty of devices start autofiring on me. Usually after lots of use and abuse, and possible water damage >_>. But still this is good to know.

Ouch! so glad everyone is safe. Sounds like Kanger needs to be contacted so they can look into the problem before someone gets hurtOurs caught fire last night beside the bed at 4:30am approx and almost caught bed on fire. This thing is super dangerous and I suggest removing battery when not using unless you want to possibly burn down your house or car if unattended. We bought it brand new last week. Flames were shooting out the top, I am guessing firing on its own? Really scary!
Well good luck with that!!! Kanger usually has something new on the market before current customer beta testing is complete.I should have known to wait until the "customer beta-testing" was finished; unbelievable!

Mine did the same thing last night. I had it sitting on my desk in my office. I didn't even use it at all yesterday. I went to grab it this morning and found it had ignited itself melting the plastic tip into the coil.Do not put the Dribox in your pocket! Or in your house! Or on your car! Leave it outside or in a fire-proof cabinet.
This device was all original, with no modifications, nothing over-tightened, could have burned my house down when it caught on fire.
What should I get instead?
Thanks
My Geyscano is my "daily driver" but not as portable as the drip box. Does anyone know of something similar to the dripbox; inexpensive, portable, simple, etc.
FT's REO clones have been discontinued, but I agree with the Coppervape. I have 2 and I love them. You might look at a CV. Brass ones are available, too, as well as kits. Fast Tech also sells affordable Reo Grand clones. Not yet pulled the trigger on getting a Kanger, or Pico squonker. Not too sure I will any more, now and not merely due to your incident. I'm quite content using a CV or falling back to a Reo clone. YMMV & this is only my humble, take or leave as you want or need.
