Am I supposed to behave like a teenager again now that I've started vaping? I love sneaking a vape where I'm not supposed to smoke. My favorite spot is the one hole bathroom at work; kinda gross right? None the less, fogging up the little bathroom is a blast plus it works like air freshener. As an added bonus the stimulant properties of nicotine always get things moving!

I just wonder what the next guy thinks/smells walking in behind me...

I was vaping here at my desk at work for a little while until another vaper told me it was against company policy. I kind of sit in a corner so I continued. That is until people in the cubes around me started asking about the strange smells. Funny thing is that I was vaping cappuccino and one said they smelled cotton candy and another said they smelled cotton candy or something like burnt cotton candy.

Since then, I have gone to the bottom floor where there are 2 private bathrooms and vape away.

You are not alone, I know I'm guilty on sneaking a vape now and again. My buddy was the best though, I loaned him an evod with a full tank to try out to see if vaping was for him, if it would cut down on his analog habit at least. His wife is pregnant and at the hospital while having some tests done he got caught puffing away on the thing in the waiting room. They didn't throw him out, but I don't think they were impressed.

I'd like to vape at work but I haven't had an opportunity to talk to the supervisor to find out if it's allowed or not. People here probably have never heard about vaping. I think they have heard commercials for NJoy but they probably go in one ear and out the other.

I do vape in my car before work but I'm a little nervous about someone seeing me doing it. They might think I'm using illegal substances and the gossip would start.

You're not the only one. I'm an accomplished vooper.

That's really funny!

This is interesting - I was vaping classic tobacco at my mom's house earlier and they thought I had just put on a pot of coffee and said it smelled like fresh coffee grounds. I guess whatever is on your breath has to do with how it smells to others?

Man, I'll tell ya. First 20 years as a HS Teacher―smoke almost anywhere except the actual classroom. Last ten years―if you are caught smoking anywhere within 5 miles of the campus you will be thrown in jail. I was a really good teacher, but nervous, and so it really made it crappy for me. Vaping would have saved me. (I wasn't really a HS Teacher― I was President of Large Entity.)

I don't have that problem. I use to smoke at work, I run a cabinet shop. So vaping is looked on as completely OK. I don't vape in the main office, to much. But I have grabbed a vape or two when I'm in there talking to the big bosses. They haven't said anything about it. Other than they are glad I'm not smoking anymore.

I know what you mean about vaping in the bathroom! I recently had to spend a night in the hospital. The floor I was on was almost empty so the night nurse only came in twice. I couldn't sleep in those stupid beds (I'm 6'5" and the beds are typically 6') so I was up most of the night. I had my stealthy little EVOD Twist battery and two EVOD tanks so I would go into the bathroom every few minutes and have a vape. One nurse came in and said, "I smell candy!" Another came in later and said it smelled like flowers but there were no flowers in my room!

Felt like a kid again!!!

I operate a printing press. We are not allowed to smoke in the pressroom, too many chemicals, paper, major fire hazard... The "official" company policy is no vaping in the pressroom, either. But myself, and many of my coworkers will grab a vape at the press every now and then, and management turns a blind eye. They will smile and not say anything. I guess they are just glad we aren't always leaving the presses for a smoke anymore.

I work in a lab so putting anything in your mouth is a no go! However, I find it ironic that the things I deal with on a daily basis are much worse for me than analogs not to mention Vaping. I figure if I make the lab smell like coffee, or mint and strawberries that might be a good thing.
