It is my hypothesis that the special "something" provari owners feel in regards to quality when they hold the device (please see the latest zmax provari thread for shining examples) is simply a confirmation bias engineered by the security of a warranty combined with the intense desire to not have wasted money.

All due respect to the device, I hear its top notch, and will pick up their next revision for sure. I just think it's ridiculous that any time someone shows a new device (check out the eVic thread) I have to read about how new features aren't features and new benefits are for ......s. It's honestly gotten out of hand here guys, and you know who you are.

I do agree that it gets a bit ridiculous when someone starts a thread about a new device and fanboys of other devices come in and start completely dismissing it.

Its like they some how feel threatened that a device could possibly provide a different experience than what their current device offers ... so they go on the offensive and attempt to debunk a device they literally have ZERO real world knowledge of.

I don't get the insecurity either ... but its something you see in many facets of life. "Haters gonna hate".

I'd have to disagree with you. It's more a Form vs Funtionality argument. I'm sitting here with a Provari mini and a Vamo in mini mode. Both have a Phoenix atty on them. Getting a great vape from both, same battery life from both. The Vamo has it beat in the functionality department, the VV runs right with the Provari but it can also do VW. It's also easier to navigate the settings so I'd say it's menu system beats the Provari. Once they are set though both vape equally great. The Provari has it beat just by the way it feels in the hand. It has a solidness to it rather than a tinny feel. The button has a better size, shape and feel (no click). The screen has bigger characters which I can read without my cheaters. The threads, edges and surfaces are all smooth as silk, very tight tolerances on the machining. The Provari is also about an inch shorter than the Vamo so it's more stealthy and fits shirt pocket better. These are the reasons I prefer my Provari over my Vamo. Warranty doesn't come into play for me. I don't expect to need it with the Provari and for the price of the Vamo ($38) I can replace it four times before I get to the price of the Provari and its warranty. It just comes down to what your personal priorities are and which one fits them better. Both get the job done about as we'll as anything out there. The Vamo also has a higher current limit if that's important to you, they'll both go higher than where I prefer to vape.

Well said, and I agree with you.
