borrowed sheep? I don't think the dude has socks or a dryer....Naw, sheep are expensive.
Sock or dryer lint is more up this kid's alley.

Yeah, cause that's what I said.Oh, and the last time I checked the REO wasn't an inexpensive mech mod. This is the
I'm talking about. I'm going to add obtuse defense to my earlier "militant" description.
I asked him what gauge it was. He said he wasnt sure, but it was the smallest paperclip he could find. Wait, wut? Paperclip?? Yea, he didnt want to "Pay a store some ungodly price for normal wire with a special name" so he had wrapped a set of dual coils from a paperclip...
Lols some people...
Although...
Stainless Steel Paper Clips (50-Pack) | Fasteners | Conservation Supplies | Preservation | Gaylord Archival

So............$9 4Nine Mod Unsafe even in educated hands
$209 Reo perfectly Safe even in hands of an idiot.
Me thinks your Mechanical argument comes from 100% lack of use and understanding.
...........and by the way, I have 14 Regulated Mods along with some 30 Mechanical mods.
Perhaps you Fear that which you do not understand.
I do not consider myself Militant nor obtuse, simply one in search of knowledge, not Fear mongering.![]()
how many homes have burned down due to "chuckleheads" falling asleep with a cigarette in their hand? Yet, the convenience stores are still full of smokes...OMFG! Do you understand what I said at all! Put simply; a person who is not going to pay $5 for a spool of kanthal isn't going to spend $151 on a mech mod. It doesn't have anything to do with my understanding or fear of anything. Fantastic, you know how to use your equipment. The chucklehead who is the subject of the OP doesn't, is going to get themselves hurt and damage ALL of vaping in the process. Keep up the fight though cause it's working so far.

I'm gone for a few days and come back to paperclips and a Yale study saying your motor skills may be impaired by vaping eliquid with alcohol in it. Wow, just wow. I'm glad you helped that kid though.
In all fairness, tho... Your insistence on this being about mechs, or the price thereof, is a testament to you not seeing the real problem.
You could replace the paperclip with a $50 "designer" coil and the mod with a $100.000 jewel encrusted DNA 200 mod designed by the ghost of Arkimedes. Still, it would be an accident waiting to happen. As long as basic battery safety/knowledge is completely and utterly ignored, the rest does not matter.
If you believe a regulated mod will keep you safe from using mismatched, low-drain UltraInferno ICR batteries - you may be the next headline.
If he was using paper clips for coils, I shudder to think what he was wicking with.![]()
Cotton breakfast sausage all day longI hear dryer lint is awesome for wicking.

The last year and a half have been like navigating an Escher painting of insanity.
I burned myself on my toaster oven a couple days ago. We need to ban those. It couldn't possibly be my fault for being careless!
