my coworker went kayaking with his vamo v3 *face palm*... needless the say, his vamo did not survive.
luckily for me, he was running his vamo in shorty mode and i was able to salvage his 18650 tube.
turns out when attached to my vamo v2 this morning at the office, i was able to run it with 2 aw imr 18490's!
im sure if i attached my 18650 extension i would be able to run 2 18650's... i'll update the thread later tonight :)

I won't pretend to know all of the concerns, but stacked batteries, i.e., 2 - 18350's at 3.7 Volts each, ought to draw only half the current (drain) of an 18650 at 3.7 Volts, or a single 18350. Because of the lower current demand, I prefer series / stacked batteries. This assumes the mod is appropriate for 7.4 Volts.

I just stumbled on this thread. I've been discussing batteries and stacking in another thread - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/vamo/355592-vamo-battery-thread-58.html . I ran some tests today to measure current draw under real vaping conditions on a Vamo using a single 18650 and stacked 18350s. Check post numbers 574 and 577 to see what the overhead of running the boost circuit does to current draw. I am not advocating that anyone stack batteries, but the difference is basically a 3:1 ratio with the 18350s being the "1".
