Hi all,
I started vaping about 9 days ago with the intent to just cut down and save some money (My cheap smokes just broke $9 a pack) Turns out vape makes analogs taste like ... within two days I had 5 packs lying around I ended up giving away hahaha... so turns out I'm quitting all together... haven't even had a craving for a regular cigarette since the third day. Of course apparently I'm doomed to suffer every tobacco withdrawal symptom known to man aside from cravings. I'm currently suffering the quitters flu and have already had a day or two of diarrhoea (although that's cleared up at least).
Funnily enough I tried my first PV 7 years ago - one of those cheap chinese cig-alikes with the crappy atty's and the foam ejuice cartridges and I'm really wishing I hadn't - I wrote off vaping this whole time because of that stupid cig-alike until I tried my friend's vape just before Christmas and it actually had a noticeable throat hit.
Anyways I started off with a Kanger Emow starter kit and am quite enjoying it - but I already want more - I can already feel the hobbyist in me kicking in so I guess that brings me to the meat and potatoes of this post. Has anyone had any experience with the Kanger sub-tank as a mouth inhaler? (pull to mouth then inhale to lungs) I haven't been able to find any reviews that mention this specific facet - I was looking at the Aspire Atlantis but I found a review that suggested it was a little too airy for a mouth-inhaler which had me looking looking up reviews again - then I saw the Kanger sub tank with the flexibility for me to start building my own coils in a hybrid solution so I can use purchased coils when it's inconvenient to build and while I'm still learning and I thought that would be perfect - but the only thing holding me back from buying one (and a good VV/VW) is whether or not I'll get a good feel as a mouth inhaler. I don't doubt I could switch to lung inhaling with relative ease - even the emow with 24mg nic is easy enough for me to lung hit maybe coughing once or twice every few hits - but I just generally prefer to mouth inhale and I still want a good hit when I have to take a smaller draw (y'know being discrete at a bus stop for instance rather than hitting everyone in the vicinity with a fog bank).
So it really boils down to - does anyone with a preference for mouth-lung have any experience with the Kanger subtank, or any good recommendations for a solution that'll do the trick for a mouth inhaler? Cost is not all that much of a concern - I was spending nearly $250 a month on cigs so at least until my budget adjusts to the reduced rate for ejuice and coils/kanthal I have a bit of extra coin to set myself up nice.
Anyways thanks for the good reads in the other subforums been lurking a few days now and I think I might become a regular.
