Yesterday I brought my girlfriend to the mall to go birthday shopping for my bro. While there, I asked the guys at hot topic and spencer's if they knew where I could get some e-liquid (since the liquid at my tobacco store is overpriced) either there or somewhere else in tupelo. Both of them pointed me to a e-cigarette kiosk. I went and checked it out and was instantly amazed at the incredible designs I was seeing! They had very kool-looking e-cigs that I almost considered buying right off, but I could not for the life of me find a brand name anywhere. I started looking for brand names I could recognize and found none. I asked the clerk lady how much their e-liquid was and that I was paying over a buck per ml which was ridiculous and that I was looking for something cheaper. She handed me what appeared to be a 30ml bottle of 24mg e-liquid, thought the ml amount was not marked on the bottle anywhere, and stated that it was $24.95 for the bottle. She tried to tell me that it was stronger than the kind I was getting (18mg), so it's worth more. I straight up told her that that was bullkrap because I know online stores where I can get 24mg e-liquid for the exact same price as the 18mg. I studied the bottle. It, too, had absolutely no brand name. All it said was "Spearmint 24mg" I asked her for a pamphlet and she gave me a laminated sheet of paper with info regarding their e-liquid. The paper said that it was a "special e-liquid mixture unlike any other that used vegetable extracts to reduce the full effect of the nicotine and prevent addiction". I instantly gave back the sheet and left. I feel I walked away from a true ripoff here. I've never heard of this vegetable extract crap I was reading about and it seemed pretty far-fetched. I was asking the clerk lady very simple questions that she could not answer, so it's obvious that she didn't know what she was talking about. Did I do good here, or was she giving a fair price? Like I said, I don't know what this vegetable stuff is, so it could be worth more than the regular e-liquid. The e-cigs looked awesome and I was going to ask about prices, but after reading about the e-liquid and seeing no brand names whatsoever, I decided they'd probably be awful and overpriced anyway. Ripoff: Yay, or nay? xP

I'm currently paying $10 for 5ml bottles :/ at least it's good stuff, though. Not worth it, but it isn't this vegetable crap they were trying to sell me at the mall. Can't wait to get my debit card so I can start ordering online.

stay far far away from these vendors. They are trained in what to say. Many don't have a clue what they're talking about. I recently got a pop up on my computer that said "the best electronic cigarette ever!" I decided to chat with the rep over im. She looked foolish because she couldn't answer any of my questions. Keep it online is my policy. This is where fair prices and educated people help you out

If you were to pay the hundred(s) of dollars for one of their e-cigs, then I'd say you got ripped off...

I will (reluctantly) pay upwards of $1 per ml for really good e-liquid... once in a while... but chances are their liquid isn't anything special... they have mall rent to pay ;-)

Some vendors out there will allow you to send a money order or personal check... just ask...

currently paying $10 for 5ml bottles

$10 for 5ml

WHAT?!? A normal vendor online sells 5ml for around $3. One vendor just had a sale where their 5ml bottles were .39 each.

You should look into DIY if you aren't going to be able to order online for a while. For the price of 3 of your 5ml bottles, you could have a gallon of vapable juice and you know exactly what flavors you are putting into it.

gel drops, check out this vendor for juices...you'll crap at the price difference plus they make some really great liquid. VG crap? I love it....I've been vaping VG crap for 11 months and haven't dropped dead yet. You need some VG crap to produce the big clouds with PG crap for flavor and TH. Hey folks, we're all vaping crap. WOW..the ignorance of these kiosks. I messed with one in a mall in Kansas City. The guy liked to have crapped when I pulled my Buzz out and was blowing thunderhead clouds to his little dinky ones. On the other hand, the mall kiosks help get the word out and if someone falls for all their hype and buys a kit, quits smoking, then it wasn't a loss. Overpriced yes but served it's purpose.

Well, I wasn't referring to it as actual "crap", that's just what I say. Ex: This new soda crap. Or this new liquor crap. Or this new cleaning crap. You get the idea. But the page I was reading did say specifically that their vegetable extract mixture made the nicotine less addictive, so I immediately assumed it wasn't worth the amount of regular e-liquid. They never used the term VG, but from everyone's posts, it seems that it's the same thing :p

Yeah, I've read all about what I should be paying. I feel cheated every time I purchase my e-liquid and I told the owner of the store that their liquid was wayy overpriced :/. But this is understandable. They can easily trick many uneducated vapers into paying that much. I read about how much I should have been paying before I bought my first bottle there, but it's all I have at the moment. For now, it's worth it to me. I only bought two bottles to hold me over until I find an online vendor that I can buy from and I get my debit card situation sorted out. I don't keep cards because I don't order ANYTHING online, unless it's from ebay, in which case, I use my brother's account and find a seller I can send a money order to. I'm still browsing for which online vendor I'd like to buy from. As far as paying $20 for 10ml... That's the last time it's happening. I just had the extra money because I just got a paycheck, but I don't plan on going back there any time soon ^.^

What are you using now to Vape? atty? cartomizers?

Atty :p I prefer buying the bottles so that I can drip and fill carts myself. This place sells pre-filled carts at the same price as 5ml bottles, but besides the fact that they sell it for almost $2 per ml and it's a ripoff anyway, the carts also don't come filled to the rim like I prefer them. I'm new to vaping so I just started off with a 510 nicstick. Very basic and very cheap, but I wanted to make sure I'd enjoy vaping in general before buying anything too pricey

Holy Crap dude! Do yourself a HUGE favor and take the time to learn to mix. I started mixing about a month after I started vaping and I spend squat on juice. Last time I figured it out it was between 15 and 20 cents a ml. depending on the flavorings.
You can learn all you need to in the DIY liquids forums here. It's really pretty easy.

I pay around $12-20(MAX) dollars for a 30ml, depending on what vendor I'm ordering from. Sometimes cheaper isn't always better, but then again I don't know what vendor you buy from
