Wattage issue

Hi Spencer2020. Welcome to the ECF.
What type of Batteries are you using? And How Many Charges have you put on them?
with the 40a i have they are new ive only charged them maybe 20 times
The Imrens likely have a actual CDR of as low as 10 A or so, so 120 watts is way beyond what they can manage (and more importantly, quite unsafe). They're likely quite damaged by now, so it would be best to recycle them immediately.
If the LG HG2s are authentic and newish or in good shape, 120 watts will stress them but they should be able to provide it. How old are they?
You'd be better off with a pair of good batteries with a CDR of 25 or so. You might consider:

I'm Not very familiar with Imren Batteries. But I Don't believe there are Any 40A Constant Discharge Rate (CDR) 18650 Batteries.
Always judge a Battery by it's CDR. And Never consider what the "Pulse Rating" may be.
Then imrens im running have a Max Continuous Rated Discharge: 20A & Rated 40A Max Pulse. ive never had any issues with them before on my previous mod

What was your previous mod?
Did you buy the Aegis X from a local shop or online? Perhaps you have a faulty unit.

You don't have a wattage issue, you have a battery issue.

i bought the mod from a local shop but had to get it replaced by the manufacturer because of broken lcd
ive used all 3 setting soft std and powerful
Thats only thing i can think of i have the lg hg2people have siad those are good but they are still only 20 cdr

The Molicel P26A's are rated best all around. I use them. They're solid.
i see on tthat picture it says its 25 cdr but when i lookup online it says 35cdr

There's are kinda 2 Ways you can go down the Battery Road.
One, you can take on Face-Value what OEM's and or Retailers say a Batter can do.

Or Two, you can Read Up on what the battery Actually Tested at by people who know what they are talking about. And aren't trying to make a Buck selling Battery Cells to the masses.
I Trust Mooch because he has Never given a Pass to an OEM or Battery that was a sub-performer. And what I read in his Reviews is what I see on the Flashlight Forums by others who Test Batteries.
I could print 4000 amps on the side of a battery, wouldn't make it true though.
There is no agreed standard for rating a battery (particularity pulse ratings), so as a producer of batteries I can put what I please on the side. Obviously big numbers sell better. Consumers assume these figures are strictly factual. People also make the assumption that I care about people getting poor performance an possibly blowing their faces off. I do not.

Scumbag rewrappers have been up to this nonsense for years. Fortunately we have our own captive Mooch-beast who tirelessly performs realistic and unbiased testing to provide the vaping community with reliable and factual data of the actual performance of batteries.

@Spencer2020 Hawise provided you a list of batteries suited to your requirements, and where to buy them. Remember batteries are the most important part of your vape setup.
Good and proper (in this case "proper" = "safe") are 2 different things. Just because a certain brand and model of battery is "good", it doesn't mean it is "proper" or "safe" for your situation.
I suggest you do the following in the shown order...
- Watch the following video
- After you have done that, calculate what amperage you are pulling when you vape on that mod
- Reread posts #5 and #13 in this thread
- Select the batteries in those 2 threads which are suitable for amperage needs.
- Purchase that/those batteries
- Use them in your mod
On the other hand, if you want to believe Imren and their worthless ratings, or if you think LG chocolates are "good batteries" for any and all vaping needs, well, you're on your own - proceed with caution and we will pray for you.
