So I recently bought a Silver Bullet with the Kick. With the stuff I purchased with it how can I start vaping? What other supplies should I pick up to be able to vape for a long time without running out of supplies? Other than the actual liquids I purchased a few atomizers, cartomizers, and tanks. I primarily want to use tanks to vape all day but I'd also like to switch it up and drip too. I'm a newb so hopefully I'm understanding this right.

In order to use tanks on the SB mod I'll need:
1) a cartomizer with pre-punched holes or a device to punch holes in non punched cartomizers
2) a tank
3) a tank tool to move the cartomizer for refills
4) and a mouth tip to put on top of the cartomizer and tank to start vaping

The dripping part is what I don't really understand. I see most people either buy low resistance or standard resistance atomizers and put a mouth tip on top of it to vape. Is it this simple??? Also how do you use it? Do you just put a few drops inside the atomizer and put the mouth tip on and it's good to go for a few hits?

I guess I'll have to experiment with this stuff once it arrives but if any of you could explain the process of dripping it would be very helpful. Also, please let me know if I'm understanding the tank stuff correctly. Might have to watch a few more videos. lol.

I ordered only one of each of the items listed so please share some advice on what else I should pick up and possible how many of them given how long each atomizer/cartomizer lasts. Not sure how fast each item will need replacing?

- 1.5 ohm DC Cartomizer 510
- Yetti 510 cartomizer
- LR 510 Atomizer (no bridge)

- 3 different drip tips

- Lil Mama 3ml Anodized Tank from Big Daddy Vapor
- Metal Dual Coil 6 ml Tank from Altsmoke

So far I only purchased 2 cartomizers, 1 atomizer, and 2 tanks. Please let me know what brand, ohm, size carto, resistance, .......you're recommending and where I can possibly purchase them for a good price. Thanks!!!

There tons of info out there. Try not to soak in all the information too quickly. The tip is usually refered to as a drip tip. It is not a necessity for use with a cartomizer. More of a novelty type thing. As far as dripping atomizers go, the best hassle free one ive had is made by a guy named Hanna Hadawar over at avidvaper. Called the HH.357.... I personally have a 1.4 ohm long barrel that has been in service now for almost a year.

Hey i was in the same boat 3 years ago check out my youtube DEVVONSVAPES is the name with wanting to vape a long time sounds like your pretty set. Buy replaceable head tanks such as an innokin iclear 30 with some extra heads. That will keep you going for a relatively long time. Lots of juice. When using carto tanks all you need is the tank and some cartomizers a punch and e liquid. You have a silver bullet with a kick which is an amazing vape the kick gives you variable power meaning you can change the power according to the resistance of your cartomizer. Same thing with any tank or heating source. The only downfall with a kick is it only goes to 10Watts. In order to keep your mod running smoothly i recommend buying more batteries for the device. Batteries dont last forever but close to a year and a half a couple chargers will be usefull too. Those go out eventually too aa far as dripping goes you need to see if you like the idea of dripping. Or if you like tanks... Etc etc. find what works easiest for.you and keeps you off the real thing. A safety tip always make sure you don't completely discharge a battery that could lead to issues too. Best battery in my opinion is an AW imr they work the best and last the longest. Don't stack batteries either, this if done improperly can cause issues to. Did i cover everything you asked?? Haha hope you find what works best for you and happy vaping!

In order to explain dripping i have to explain this first. An ecig is a battery powered vaporizer. The battery runs voltage thru your coil which can consist of kanthal or nichrome wire which is your heat causing the eliquid to vaporize. So dripping is that coil just usually more exposed. You drip the e liquid at first into the atomizer about 12 to 15 drops. Vape that for a couple times then time to refill with 2 to five drops giving you 3 to 5 good drags before it goes dry. When i say dry i mean no more eliquid to be vaporized.

Welcome to ECF, new vapor!

The Silver Bullet was my first mod, too. Nice choice, mine has served me well.

I use primarily cartotanks, but there are several options available to you. I've written several articles to help new vapors get started. This one will introduce you to the most commonly used juice delivery devices. You'll find a description, pictures of what they look like, and a video on how they are used:

Proper Terminology: Is it a carto, a tank, or what? - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/baditude/index2.html

There are other articles in my blog that you will find helpful. A cartotank setup guide, a list of vendors that sell pre-punched cartomizers, delivery devices that are safe to use with cinnamon and citrus flavors, and a review of my favorite cartotank:

E-Cigarette Forum - Baditude - Blogs

Probably everything that you need to know can be found in one of the articles that I wrote. If not, there are plenty of helpful people here at ECF who are knowledgable, supportive, and helpful that you can ask questions.

Good luck with your vaping!

welcome to vaping. You have a kick for your SBullet? well then, crank it to where your enjoying the vape and it'll do all the work for you when it comes to matching the voltage to whatever atty or cartomizer resistance you order! Generally though, if you just use an 18650 battery, your going to want low resistance attys and cartos (coils) you usually want to double the voltage of the resistance of your coils. SO, you will enjoy a 1.5 to 2ohm atty/carto with a regular battery no kick, since a regular battery will hover around 3.5 to 4.2 volts for it's charge. ENJOY YO VAPE JOURNEY !!!

12 to 15 drops? Maybe if you're using an HH.357. For a standard 510 atomizer, maybe 3 to 4 drops on the first go. But it also depends on what you're dripping with. ;)

Dripping really is as simple as putting a few onto the coil, popping on a drip tip and vaping until it's dry. However, every type and brand of atomizer is going to be different in a number of ways. Some will tolerate more liquid than others or have a stiffer draw or any of a number of minor things. In the end it comes down to trial and error and finding what you prefer.

It definitely isn't a hassle-free way to vape, but it is one of the most satisfying methods. I only drip, but I also only use the eGo-C atomizer. ;)

Good luck.

I swear Baditude, do you keep these posts of yours in a text document on your computer? :)
Anyone can create their own blog here on ECF. To post individual blog articles I simply copy and paste the web address into the link window. Really saves time and work.

Some of my pictures are stored on my computer. Some are stored on websites such as Photobucket. Some of the pictures are of my own equipment http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/members/baditude-albums-pictures-my-setup.html and some are copied from vendor websites or Google Images.

I'm starting to understand more about all of the different options out there. I think? lol.

I'll start putting extra money aside and purchase different cartomizers and atomizers to try out along the way. Hopefully that's all that's needed to keep vaping other than more juices. Vaping is getting ridiculously expensive at this point. Then again smoking cigarettes isn't exactly cheap.

Well anyhow I recently ordered a couple sample sized bottles from e-juice vendors such as Pink Spot, Alice in Vapeland, Zeus Juice, & Fuzion Vapor. I've been trying to buy some Boba's Bounty from Alien Visions since I read somewhere on here that it's a good tobacco flavor but it's been out of stock. I'm going to need a lot of juice stocked up once my quit date arrives so I want to find ones I like and can vape daily.

Also, thanks to who pointed out they primarily drip with the Ego-C atomizer. I researched them and they look promising. I have an old ego setup that I might setup to use the C atomizer as a backup vape. The old setup I had with the Ego used a weird type of cartomizer with cotton inside if you know what I'm talking about? I hated them because liquid would leak all over the place and shoot into my mouth. That itself made me give up vaping the first time I tried it. Well this time once I set a quit date to stop smoking and have enough vape materials stocked up, I'll probably need to get the Ego up and running as a backup. I basically only have the 2 batteries and charger for it but the parts are reasonably priced it seems. At least compared to what I just paid for the SB setup.

As for the different atomizers and cartomizers. There's just so many different ones to try. I'll just start out slow and start trying different ones until they need replacing. Then try another and so on until I find the perfect one for my preferences. Most seem to have pretty good reviews anyways. The HH .357 atomizer definitely looks appealing but they're so expensive. If they last as long as people say then I guess it's worth it then. Might have to give those a try.

I will probably post up my plans to quit smoking in this forum soon and give more updates on my vaping journey!
Thanks again everyone!!!
