We have to get on qushing bill C-36 somehow. Thats what scared companies to fold. I think thats why JC closed, they dont want to get into all that garbage and risk getting raided. I dont blame them. The less we fight the more authority we give HC and the more they will flex their muscles.

Or if you don't like his threads, why click on them and read them? I think they are all clearly marked with political topics.

Ian has done a lot of leg work here coming up with ideas, given all the is going on, and the number of responses to each thread I see no reason why he should stop.

it everywhere , and im not complaining from nowhere im responding to his post calling a certain someone an ...... , responding with a reasonable solution , and yes its 2 , the 3rd clearly stated they were shutting down before hc bothered them implying that they did not receive the letter and closed down out of free will

Does it matter if he got a piece of paper or not? It is HC's actions that directly, and for no other reason but, closed about 1/2 of the Canadian retail capacity this week.

This is anything but a small deal. Its not going to just go away, and the next round will most likely mean you are crossing your fingers that your order makes it through HC's heightened efforts at customs, as that is your only option without ANY Canadian retail.

There are those who would rather stick their heads in the sand and hope it all goes away and it'll be business as usual.

The "not in my back yard" mentality that seems rampant among Canadians. That's why this country is in a mess.

If there are those who are willing to effect change they should be applauded, not scorned.

As they say in Bambi, "if you can't say something nice, don't say nothing at all".

Put up or shut up. It's going to be discussed whether you want it to or not. Don't read the posts if you don't want to know.

Can_supplier is totally right - this is huge - a terrible loss - and we can't just lay down and take it.

There, that's my two cents for what it's worth.

Ive decided with help from a couple friends on here Iam not going to let someone with a mental disability and his minion of AK'ers stop my fight. What am I showing people when I fold because of one ...... when I want to take on HC. No Iam not going anywhere, I am in it to win it, im in for the long haul. Thank you guys for a reality check.

Lets not bring what happened in other posts here. I am trying to let that one die. I also dont want this to turn into another ECF brawl. Thanks

looks like u brought it into this thread not me ,i just stumbled upon it

i wouldnt say only

Why not?

Come June 10th, HC can kick down your door, take whatever they want for as long as they want, without warrant, and if you happen to have so much as a "kite string that conducts electricity" or anything THEY FEEL is not safe, take you to court, where you face a $500,000 fine and 5 years in jail.

You really think anyone is going to risk that sticking around to risk selling you a $20 bottle of ejuice? Would make more sense to try your luck trying to be Pablo Escobar, at least the prices of the merchandise are higher, and if investigated would have more rights!!

I'm curious Wood, do you like to poke bears with sharp sticks too?

It seems to me that you have a liking for stirring the pot and seeing what happens.

Why not stir the pot in the political arena and see what you can do there? Or poke Steven Harper with a sharp stick and see what happens!

Put your intellect to work to help not hinder.
