I think with the Looming FDA Crackdown we need a new name for e cigs.
I keep reading over and over the fda saying tobacco product simply for the nicotine in my aerotank .
Am I incorrect in thinking that most ejuice is made with synthetic nic ?
.... Durbin from il says that there is no regs regarding selling to minors.
Every single euice I have bought has warning labels on them not for sale to minors under 18.
B&Ms wont let minors even in the store.

Sorry for the rant I gave up smoking for my evod after 35 years I sure as hell dont want to go back to smoking now that I can breath run and taste food.

Your not the only one. Just the word "cigarette" conjures up a bad image.
It was helpful to get attention in the beginning, but now it's a problem with a lot of vapers and the public, as it implies, we are still "smoking"
It's too late to shut the barn door after the horse is out, so we are pretty much stuck with it.
If someone asks me if it's an e-cigarette I using, I tell them no, it's my personal vaporizer, and that it got me OFF of the cigarettes.
I don't like it either, but it's too well embedding now to change anyone's mind, and the impression it leaves them with.
All I can do is correct the term to "personal vaporizer" or "VP" with everyone, every chance I get, and if given a chance, explain the difference.

Agreed.

When someone complains about me 'smoking' in a public spot, I don't want to have to say that I'm using an 'e-cigarette,' then try to explain the diff. I usually say that I don't smoke, and that I'm using a 'vaporizer.'

(I also usually stop vaping when I get a complaint, to stay out of the complainer's face.)

Congratulations on becoming a vaper! I agree that the e-cigarette tag is a problem, but as mentioned, it already exists. When asked, I explain to people that I using a vaping device that converts a flavored liquid into a vapor. I make sure that they know that my device is not burning any plant material!

It's pretty annoying how some people are quick to judge. Some folks said things like "Is that an e-cigarette? Please stay away from me so I don't get lung cancer!" I've had to take even more ridiculous comments than this. Sure, people have a right to be concerned, but I try my best to explain the device as a vaporizer, which contains no tobacco, smoke, or those thousands of chemicals from analogs.

I like the term "vaporizer" most, because that's what it is, really!
