Heard from sis - she got her gift early... and she actually called to say she liked it! It's kind of a big deal, as we are pretty much estranged. I haven't seen her in almost 10 years. I usually send her a card, and most of the time it's late; sometimes a small gift if I see something that she might like. Almost never hear back from her. Sometimes she sends a card for my B-day, but I don't count on it.

It's weird.

Not Really - Especially, If Ya' Knew "My" Biological Family . . . AND - There are 6 of "Us" Siblings left now . . . Just Sayin' . . .

@Uncle - Sorry for the confusion, I'm not going anywhere. In fact, I'm going nowhere fast.

Regarding the peetina (urine patina)- ***This may get a bit icky, skip this paragraph if in doubt*** For decades or more likely centuries, copper roofs and other objects have been prematurely aged (faux antiqued) with horse urine to get that greenish color so many people like. Pharmaceutical grade urea is one thing, but when I said that I don't like patinas because the smell like cat spray I wasn't kidding. Most patinas are lab made, but for a roof they'll go the cheap route. Once upon a time I was commissioned to make a 4'x8' plaque made from faux antiqued copper, and it took many tries to get the right color. That was an awful day. Terms like "all-natural" and "organic" can be disgusting. That's not nearly as crazy as what people once used to whiten their teeth... enough of this subject! Icky, gross, yuck! Apologies!

Sometimes learning is not so fun after all. You cannot unlearn what you have learned. BTW, Yoda's grammar was atrocious.

11 minutes till my weekend starts. tho i do have to work at 8am tomorrow (lame) which will be kinda tough since ill be drinking to last call whilst i cut a rug to the legendary dj Aphrodite tonight at the rooftop playground club!
