Has any found a supplier or company that has tobacco e-juice like or very similar to MFS Turbosmog, Tall Paul, or Red Luck?

Except for Li-po's, lithium batteries start at 4.2 volts and good ones can take a while to drop under 4 volts. I'm not aware of a mod with a .03v drop. 0.3v drop would be very respectable at 1ohm resistance.

Edit: I charge my batteries for mechanical mods when they get down to about 3.5 volts. The vape is considerably different after the voltage drops by 0.7v, I can always tell when it's down to 3.7v. YMMV. Having a voltage tester handy is a very nice thing. Best $2 in vape ware I have purchased.

#2 According to reviews, the Ea clone has a .03 voltage drop. Perhaps thats the numbers he is siting? One of the many reasons I have been pining after that mod...

It does that some times, refreshes at its own leisure. I would love to meet one of those "reputable" mechanics some day, but low I believe them to be myth. I have a better chance of being turned to stone by a weeping angel.

Tish... look below...
If that's a ~0.03v drop under no load at all then it makes perfect sense. Voltage drop without an atty attached should be extremely low. The resistance of the mod by itself without a battery or atty would be much more useful to know than it's voltage drop, but that's not nearly as easy to test. Most folks don't know what these numbers mean anyways. V-drop with a sub-ohm coil is usually pretty high, but with a SR carto it's extremely low. I see folks claiming v-drop numbers without listing the resistance of the atty all the time. As long as the mod is safe to use all this v-drop stuff isn't all that important. Meaningless waste of time, cloud chasing...

I let my batteries sit for a couple of hours before and after charging. It's not that they lose any charge, that can take weeks or months. I read that they last longer (more cycles) if they get to sit without use before and after charging. That kind of experiment would take months to run, so I'm just going by what I read. It can't hurt.

The resistive load of the mod could easily be calculated by using the voltage drop w/o atty.
If you know the V off the batt, then by assuming wattage as constant. Hmmmmmmm lipet me work on this a bit...
Hmmm... can't have any zeros in the denominator....v1-v2...

edit: OK... not so easy...

#3 Yes, I read that. Even so, a .03 drop is very good. Some mods have undesirable internal resistance. Whether it be springs or badly thought out or executed contacts, inferior metals, what have you. I realize that voltage under load is different and has everything to do with the attached device. And that is one of the reasons why I have used regulated mods up until this point.

YEA! A reputable auto mechanic! They are out there but not so easy to find. I had one guy tell me: "You need another clutch? WOW! I bet the one I put in was defective. Let's see if we can get you some money back on that. It should NOT have gone out so quickly." Unfortunately, it had and it was not defective. I don't know? I don't even use the clutch except to stop and start. Sometimes not even then. My last clutch in the big truck was replaced when we had tranny work done. Tech said "You can tell the driver knows what he is doing, this clutch is in great shape". I smiled and just didn't even correct him. It is not a "he" it is a "she". :2cool:

Just a note on the PT2. I changed the head from the PT2 to my PT and it still required a low watt setting to keep from burning. Old PT head at 2.2 ohms = 8 watts just fine. New head from PT2 at 2.2 ohms can be used at no higher than 5 watts on my ZMax. Now, either my ZMax is not operating correctly in the power setting or the head is way different. I find this all so very confusing. Would like to know if the ZMax is defective while it is under warranty. I am going to B&M to grab a few new PT2 heads and do some experimenting. I like the PT2 with the new head. I like my PT with the new PT2 head.

This device is SO ostentatious and SO unlike anthing I would ever use, that I'm floored by the fact that I like it!! It reminds me soooo much of my late sister.. exactly what she would have chosen. What the hay is it?

I think the first word that came to my mind was "gaudy" . The more I look at it, well, the second word that comes to mind is "gaudy". I am not a bling type of girl. At least not that kind. Somehow that much gold looks cheap to me. I know it is not but hey, that's just me. Now, if it is 10k gold and not gold overlay (10k might stand up to my abuse better), I think I could like it. Just don't like the halfway stuff. That's why I didn't get the black chrome ZMax. Really liked the look, just didn't want to get upset when it started to wear off....which it does.

5. 8/13 - All this chatting and I almost forgot to make a 5th entry. GMO, I believe that's a Chi-You made of gold, or plated in gold with some diamonds. I know very little about it other than it's existence. I found it on an Australian vaping forum, somebody there found it on Facebook. Pretty silly IMO. And no, I could not and would not make anything like that. Cars are meant to be driven, mods are meant to be vaped with, etc. I can't imagine the owner does anything but polish it and call it "precious". I try not to judge in general, but in this case I'll make an exception.

Update on the Diver: it couldn't deal with my ridiculously thick 100%VG/3% flavor DIY e-liquid. I didn't want to mod the Diver in any way, so I went out for some distilled water today. After diluting to 5% water, it's working great. Now I have to make new batches of liquid for it with more flavoring, even 5% water seriously mutes the flavor for me. YMMV

I usually use the US cleaner for at least 3 hours.. longer for some juices. The US Cleaner just speeds up the aging or "Steeping" process considerable. Instead of waiting a week to sample a juice, I can do it now right out of the US cleaner

Hey, glassman!
How long in an ultrasonic = how long steeping?

My little one is 42,000 Hz but only up to 8min timer...

I really hate thinning juice with water. To me, the water really affects the taste. I prefer PG, but if you can't do PG, maybe 2% or 3% Alcohol.

So..... I need to pop this sucker about 21 times to get the approximate "steeping" time as a week...

Hmmmmm....

I only mixed 5ml for this test and I would rather not use water at all. I really thought I had a reaction to PG a few months ago, but after trying a couple of e-liquids with 20% PG and one with an unknown ratio I think my issues must have come from something else. I still have half a liter of PG from RTS, I suppose I could experiment on myself a bit. It wasn't a respiratory, issue just a rash. I'm not in any danger.

Edit: I wouldn't push a cheap ultrasonic cleaner too hard. Some of them can't handle being run too much in a short time period. That's what I read anyways, I don't even have one. Use at your own risk.
