09/16 Entry #3 . . .

I wonder how many threads will be non-stop spam sessions when the time draws closer...

YA - THINK ! ! ! !

Especially given the people that just post to post, especially in the Contest threads to increase their chances and do not say anything of "substance" - as "Ray" requires here . . . Seriously, I know that not every contest thread is like "Ours" were "We" share so much with each other, however I also know of at least 3 Contest threads I no longer enter or participate in where this happens - and only because they are bombarded with just "STUFF" . . . AND, Worse - Now with this milestone of ECF happening, I see so many post in other threads where there are the people who do not normally participate with the ongoing discussions regularly - but just "walk in" to make a post so that they can be in the running for the prizes being offered - as most anyone can see bt their post . . .
Just Sayin' . . .;)

BTW: Although I would really "like" to be the person who posted the 10 Million post on ECF (as so many other would too :) ) - Personally, I am not going to post any more then I already do (I already post a lot  - and I know THAT WOULD BE TO MUCH . . . ) - especially just to increase "My" chances - if it happens - and I should be that lucky - then it happens . . . Just Sayin' . . .;)

ok I know about the 600 dollars but they said they were giving out other prizes as well whos getting the extra prizes and what are they?

Knowing "j0ker" who is part of ECF Administration and in charge of the Contest Threads - he or someone from Administration will probably use the Random Number Generator to be fair to everyone . . .

As for the other Prizes - Oh they all will be GOOD ONES (especially if they are anything like some f the previous ones) - All Ya' have to do is take a look at who they will get Donations from: Forum Suppliers List . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)

I know exactly what youre talking about uncle, theres a few threads where ill walk in and say good morning and no one will respond to me. Theyll respond to the thread but not to anyone in particular. And im REALLY getting annoyed by people who come in and post memes, nothing else just memes for no purpose other than to have an entry and they think because its a funny meme that must mean substance....

YEP - That does happen, but usually there will be someone that eventually welcome "You" and once Ya' are around for awhile everyone will finally get to know "You" and say more then just Hi . . . If Ya' get "My" drift . . . :D

AND - As for the rest, hey as I mentioned I really "Dis-like" being bombarded with entry after entry of "Stuff" (some people have even criticized "Me" for using so many "Smilies/Emoticons" in "My" Post too - Yep, some people don't "like' them, although I will never ever understand why . . . ;) ) , however it really is a double edge sword, especially since it is up to the Vendor or the person running the contest what they want and/or what constitutes an entry or how many entries are allowed and even if someone can post as many times as they want to too - it all just depends on the Contest :rules: . . .

Some only want a simple post - "I'm in" . . . Or Pictures . . . AND - Meme are acceptable if that is what they want . . . BUT THE WORSE is - 1) "Your" life story or 2) that "You" have to enter the Contest via their "Facebook" (or other social media away from ECF), and/or 3) Must register on their Website and provide them with all "Your" personal Information (even before You know you can trust them with that information or have purchased anything from them ) . . .

However, it is up to "You" whether or not "You" want to abide by their rules and enter the Contest too . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)

For "Me" when it gets to be too much - I just "Move On" (instead of being "Moved On" ;) ) . . . .

nope ill be at vapefest!

If it is the one in Las Vegas - which it probably is, since that is what "You" have as your location - If it is the same people I think that are running this one, hopefully the event there will be a lot better then the one they ran in New York a few months ago . . . Which - IMO (which is not only as a participant, but someone who has volunteered and professionally run conventions and the like for years) - that "VapeFest" was actually worse then even "My" Local Monthly Vape Meet (that is FREE), especially for a BIG CITY . . . Just Sayin' . . .;)

Uncle, with how long you've been on the forum, I can imagine you have seen folks come and go, and get the good with the bad. I used to run a video game forum, and would get folks that would post nonsense on every thread they could find just to run their post counter up. I removed any kind of differentiation based on post count to prevent it... for the most part the majority of the people on the forums were amicable enough and I just didn't let it bother me

That's interesting to hear I have a couple friends who went to the vapefest they had in Vegas a few years ago and they also went to the one in the Midwest and they said the Midwest one was boring and horrible but the Vegas one was awesome, fingers crossed that this one is awesome.

I've been in the military for 17 years now... patience is a virtue that you have to learn early on, or you'll pull your hair out. I always liked the quote. "Don't sweat the small stuff. It's all small stuff"
Ii have not been in the military and I agree with that totally... My way of life....
