Weight Scales w/o Auto-Shut Down?

I need recommendations due to equipment failure.
AWS (SC501-A) with optional AC power adapter.

As GOMuniEsq said the American Weigh Scales LB-501 is a good one. I've been using one for some time. Real nice scale.

I would confirm that the scale remains in the non shut off condition while the AC power adapter is in use. A little detail like this can ruin a purchase.

I would confirm that the scale remains in the non shut off condition while the AC power adapter is in use. A little detail like this can ruin a purchase.

Was it you who also posted a link to the SF-400D on ebay? It's similar to this one but a little more expensive? If so, do you own it and has it ever given you problems?

No, I do not own a scale, use syringes only. A few years ago I was planning on mixing hundreds of recipes and time was a factor so I made a study of the best scale for me. After becoming allergic to PG, I'm happy with unflavored VG and no scale needed.

@muth the LB-501 does not shut down when using the wall adapter and is imo worth the money. It does however shut down rather quickly when using batteries.

I have a small micro scale which works really well...it does shut off but it's rarely a problem for my mixing...

As others have said the tried and tested LB 501 is going to be a winner for you

I know nothing

To be fair when it does happen I just note the weight I stop at and when i'm ready continue weighing from tare zero with the weight subtracted from the total weight needed.....simples

I don’t know what scale you're using but with the LB-501 you can just lift and set back down the container and it will show your last weight. Handy if you got interrupted mid pour/drip.
