Weird storage question

Ok, admit it, when you saw weird in the title you knew it was me? ha. I am concerned about using any thing to store my batteries in for one reason. I use the manual battery and I am concerned if the button gets turned and pressed on in storage, won't that burn the battery out? I know, I know, I said it was weird. I bought an ego carry case, but I worry about the above problem if the button gets mashed by the cartomizers on the other side?

There is a plastic button protector for the ego, but it is pretty flimsy. Someone posted a thread about the AA metal battery clip being a perfect button protector and all you have to do is grind off the tabs. madvapes carries them but I haven't tried them myself.
