I received my reo grand box mod just over a week ago and I have been having a problem with atomizers ever since. In this time I had one atty completely die on me within 24 hours and three more went to 10% functionality within 24 hours. Two were LR Joye attys, one standard Joye atty, and an off brand 306 lo-res atty. I am using 3.7v Ultrafire 2400mah batteries and a AG-126 Charger from madvapes.

My juice is from Vapor-Renu and it’s very thick and oily. My wife loves using it and has been having a small problem with her atomizers as well.

Triple Flavoring / Smooth Throat Hit / 80/20 Mix.

So I put on a Cisco 306 Low Res Atty and used it with some Strictly E juice PG juice and I had fair results. The vapor production is minimal for 3.7v, maybe it’s the straight PG, but I get a intense throat hit and it really kicks my lungs in.

Please give me some feedback, as I would greatly appreciate it. My batter test at 3.7v on a multimeter, I have tried cleaning my attys with a white vinegar bath, left them out overnight, with no results, (is there a better way of drying them?) they seen “damp” to me now…

Thanks!

I have 4 REO mods - 1 wood, 1 Grand, & 2 Minis. I have had most of them of at least 4 months & vape them daily. I use LR510 attys on all of them, which I buy from a couple of different suppliers, and have experienced no problem with atty longevity. I did have a bad batch of attys that quickly burned out, but that was the fault of the attys, not the REO. Most of my juices are mixed at 80/20, and a couple of them are mixed at 50/50. I expected problems with the 50/50 juices because they were so thick, but none occurred. I never clean my attys, I only blow them out every couple of days. I don't doubt that you are having a problem, but I don't think that it has anything to do with the design of the REO, and I doubt that it is your battery or charger, so it either has to be the attys or the juice. I would suggest contacting Robert through the REO web site to see if he has any other insights into your problem. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

omg, i never meant to imply my reo was the problem, i love it! i went into detail on the juice because I THOUGHT THE JUICE MIGHT BE THE PROBLEM. i probably did not explain myself to well! I LOVE MY REO! anyhow, i have stopped using that juice, that also had vitamin b12 added, and i am in vaping heaven!

thanks for your reply!

It is your juice. Atties DON'T like oily, thick e-liquid..
Even though people like these type of liquids, atties do not..
I had a problem a long time ago using ecupure and I find that when I cut it with ry4, my atties would last longer.
My wife uses a thick liquid, which I had to cut down with PG. (now she doesn't use that anymore) She would go thru atties 1 every day or two..
Try an all PG or a mix of 80% PG and 20% VG e-liquid..
Hope this helps..
