I don't squonk but wanted to say welcome! You have been through a lot, congratulations on quitting smoking. LOL.

A word of caution about the "Shinyitis thread." Yes, we have tons of squonkers who participate in that thread. Maybe visit it to SHOW OFF your new purchase, unless you want to find your head spinning as you purchase 3 DIFFERENT squonkers, although Super Bowl Sunday might be the best time for a first visit. LOL.

PS! Since this is a post to introduce ourselves, I guess I forgot that part!

My name on here Wonder Woman Vapers is the same as my Instagram page @Wonder_Woman_Vaper - I basically nicknamed myself. I've been physically disabled and bedridden for years, then I got well. I was working and back in college at 35 when on April 24, 2017 a guy decided to pull out in front of me to turn left. I was going 50. It was 100% his fault.. I now am recovering from a Traumatic brain injury. So Wonder Woman is kind of a play on words. For a long time I would constantly wonder where I was, what was going on, who I was, how do I do this...but I've survived again and again in this life. So I nicknamed myself. I am still recovering so if I don't completely explain things or make 100% sense, forgive me. I'm going to be like that. . Until I'm not. I am 35, single, no kids. I have a dog named Jazmin.
So, the nickname is my way of trying to prove to myself I can make it through this, again... and plus I absolutely love Vaping! I've been vaping for years but didn't quit smoking for good until a few months after my injury. So it's been about 9 months now no cigs! I got my mom to quit smoking and to start vaping as well. Brain injuries are a terrible thing. You wake up a different person than you were before and everyone has to adjust to who you are now. There are no support groups around here so I hope when I'm doing well enough, in a few months, I want to try to start one up. My life story will start again there. My name. Almost forgot. My name is Lauren.

TBI here, too, since '00. Vaper for 7 years, this month. Squonker since '11. Single again since 1/27/18. You're right. It changes you. Glad to know you're off the stinkies. Happy to be of assistance.

*Took 15min to type this, because I forgot what I meant to say after I hit the reply button. I "wonder" why! ;P

Wow. You are tougher than me, and with a better attitude. :)

I have to agree that the brass Coppervape mod hits better than the aluminum. I have both, and though the aluminum is a fine mod, I prefer the brass by a small margin. The only time the weight comes into play for me is when I'm out, which is why I leave the brass mod at home.

You can't really go wrong with either, or getting one of each. If you want to spend your entire budget on a single mech squonker, you might consider a Reo. They are nearly indestructible and they work.

I find your lack of faith disturbing...

While there are a lot of excellent recommendations I'll give my 2¢

I own a dotmod and use it daily without issue. Vapecrawler can net you one under the usual $99 price point. I actually found mine at Breazy for $57, but it's gone up since then.

Some report that it doesn't fire for them reliably. I will not say that isn't true, I will say I've never had it happen and the button acn require a bit of pressure. The bottle is absolutely fantastic and huge. I use a 22mm single could but a 24 fits with little overhang. Performance is great (for me) and it's one of 2 daily drivers.

The second daily is my Therion BF 75C. Reock solid device and I've had zero problems with usage, 24mm, 22mm, single and dual coils. Only concern I personally have is it will chew battery wraps when new. Once the spring "breaks in" it becomes easier to insert a battery. I've run about 60w max, TC and the DNA has been problem free.

The best will be what you decide it is. What I like others don't, and vice versa. Take the users opinions to heart, maybe not as gospel. Including my own.
