I did it. I finally pulled the trigger on a PorVari 2.5, extended cap, two batteries, and a charger. Some $200+ bucks later and nothing has melted,.. yet!

Had to go with the silver satin (thinking about a wrap - any feedback on them?) with the blue LED.

Now do I go IBTanked, or the Sophia, or ??? for the topper?

If I had the money - IBTanked. But I haven't checked out the Sophia...(goes and opens another browser window....) Okay, IBTanked after checking out the Sophia. But it's subjective. I seem to always be looking for tanks now that I have my dripper, SiD...but I may become a Reonaut so who knows. Go with what you like. You can always save your pennies for the other.

Hehe - I'm talking about what to put on 'top' of my ProVari, not what to get instead of, or to add too :) Not that rich, and am looking for a great vape, without a lot of work/fiddling/fun/etc...

I've never built a coil - an eVic with a Vivi Nova is about where I am currently - so ideas are great, and mods look wonderful, but not really for where I'm at currently. I'm vaping to stop smoking, it is not (yet) a hobby - collecting / searching for the end-all-be-all / - I simply want a nice warm vape without leaks, gurgles, dry hits, and so on.

I do like quality - but I must have tried most every clearo sold at a certain online shop, and back to the Vivi Nova I went - I hate sucking juice~!

Both. Put the Sophia in the IBTanked.

Yes. It is intended as a carto replacement. Just make sure you put the included red o-ring in the top cap of the tank. Makes it easier to operate the juice flow control.

Curses! You're already advising as if I've already pushed the Submit Order button!

/clicks on other tab to clear cart

Oh boy - I've just been IBTanked - spent like two hours reading their site and BDV's site trying to decide which way to go. And as if the ProVari, and the (2) IBTanked tanks weren't enough, I had gotten a free sample of 'caramel candy' from my favorite juice shop, so I just had to buy a 236ml bottle of it (whopping $0.18 per ml) so I fear the Sophia will need to wait a bit for my piggy bank to refill a bit.

I promised Mamma that vaping would be cheaper than smoking, and in the last 4 days that's not quite correct...

Very cool! I just got the same thing (silver satin, blue LED), and it arrived yesterday. It's a beauty! It's also my first "serious" vaping purchase. I got the kit, so it came with a Kanger Protank II as a topper, which seems to work just fine. I have a Lil' Mama arriving in the next few days, though so I'll have something to compare to. :D

Can't help you with the topper, I stick to simple glassomizers, but for wraps check out jwraps.com. They have an excellent selection for a very reasonable price. Congrats on the ProVari!

On the idea of 'wraps' in general, do many folks use them? Are they hard to put on or take off? Once taken off, I assume reuse is not possible, but when you take a wrap off, does it leave junk on the ProVari?

My thinking is to put a wrap on to protect the ProVari, and of course, can change wraps as desired vs buying many ProVaris?
