Well...I gotta come clean. A friend (more like an old drinking buddy, who I avoid since I quit 7 months ago) stopped by right after I got my 510. I had it only a few days and I saw the reported problems posted on here. I saw a guy on ebay had a 510 for $49.99 and I was gonna get it. My buddy wanted it so he paid me, I got it on buy it now for him and turned it over to him when it came in. Anyways, I was leery of it when the order came in because the batteries were different. One of the batteries was smaller and had a cigarette paper look to it, but it worked on the atomizer that was included. My buddy is still using it (the .......) but only occasionally. I even ordered him some juice from Vapor Guys (VG had a BOGO on the 30ml, so I got a free 30ml).
What I was getting to is I sent the guy I bought from on ebay an email asking if he had more. A week later he wrote back saying yes, he has more, can't sell them on ebay anymore, let him know what I need. Like I stated though, I am kind of leery cause he sent 2 different batteries. This guy is out of Alabama, so it is not the same guy as on the provided link.
Sorry you had to read all this just to hear my story.

I got a 510 from him as well (ACReeves). My 510 from him works awesome, no battery problems yet and I have had it for 3 weeks. The only problem was one bad atomizer, but AC replaced it ASAP. I would definitely buy more from him if I didn't already have a Dura-C on the way.

Does anyone know if these 510s are compatible with the 901KLRs?

Some say they're 510s, some say they're not.

Still searching for an answer to what model they are, if they're not 510s.

No they are not. I purchased 2 kits because they said that it may be a 510, but it did not work with my existing 510 batts or atomizer and the performance was not close to a 510.

They are actually more like a 901 imo. I was trying to figure out what they were as well, but there is nothing in the manual or anywhere else that indicates a manufacture.

Thank you for the head's up! I picked up one from a board member on the cheap, and it should be making it here shortly.

I suppose I need to just contact VaporNine and ask them about comparable parts.

ya know what i post rarelly but when i come on all that i see is a bunch of fighting in cute words and inconspicuos phrases. i must say you all should be ashamed of your selves half of you are dealers/suppliers the otherhalf are affiliates. wanna know something you are all a joke. why are we in this buisness? UHH money? say what you want but i know the reason. this is either a livelyhood for some a hobby for others but in the end both are gratifying and leave us with what we want if a gambler loses he goes back for more. why because he gets gratified with gambling. if you are a e-smoker hobbyist than you get gratification out of discovery, savings off analogs, or just plain helping people for your own selfish reasons. and last the HONEST people Yea suppliers you are trying to feed a mouth, family or your pocket. Lets be real here i am one of you but do i bash any company do i sit on here and try to slip in my website no no none of the above i just watch and learn fromm all of the ......s on what not to do and all the while i have moved well over 500 kits and arouond 4000 carts this month i dont sell any one model i sell them all and you know what i let the customer choose with their own opinion where do i sell them any where i want am i overpriced? no i make just enough to feed my wife and newborn and all the while get free nicotine. i see people say posers i wont mention any names (e-smoke e ) but you where a yamika isnt it against your religion and that aint a dig or burn it is honesty. that is what is lacked here HONESTY get some smoke 51 is trying to live the usa dream now all of you tell me if you had the power or chance to start a franchise you would pass on the account of your pride right/wrong you would take it in a heartbeat dont be jealous because esmoke, 51, SA, or greensmoke are dpoing the damn thing thank them for this forum because with out hippocrites like esmke, SA,SE, and the rest of the gang your forum would be half of what it is because if you didnt walk thru your local mall and see a guy smoking inside you would most likely still smoke analogs so esmoke, 51 and the rest take a bow for i thank you for teaching me the game IMdone

I've gone to a newer supplier: global green, and have been very pleased with produce, service, availability, shipping, costs, and everything really. It's web-based so I think overhead is lower making them reasonable for the high quality product they sell.

Pretty impressed so far and the atomizer produces great volume making it easier for me to inhale, and the battery life is far better than legacy products.

At least that's been my experience. And I do compare, btw, with my brother-in-law who got me started in E-cigs a coupla months back.

BTW, global green is available at the website buyelectroniccigaretteonline.

Site looks bogus and sketchy. Prices are not reasonable at all, and what's up with the big letters stating they are FCC and FDA compliant. That's just asking for it. I think you meant product when you said "produce", as I don't see any veggies or fruit for sale. Also, as far as availability goes, they don't have any selection or variety. For first impressions, I'll just say I won't be sending my hard earne I would be very leery and skeptical of this post and the site.

Hi, I want to let you know that there is a new electronic ciggy and cigars called Elites. go to E-Lites.co.uk, soon coming to the USA, they are just like the real thing. E-Lites have modified the electronic cigarette for better satisfaction. I was in cyprus for a week and you can buy these over the counter at pharmacies. All my family were smoking them, I don't smoke so it didn't interest me but they had all smoked these for the past 3 months and didn't smoke a real cigarette since. Have a look at the site, I know that the USA is about to supply them so ask them about that.

Now, let me say first off I don't want to bash any company, but I have really had bad luck with Janty products. I really want to like them.

The following is a letter I typed up to Janty that kind of explains the situation:

"Hello,

I recieved my Dura-C Kit one week ago, and now both batteries, and both atomizers, in any combination, have failed. They produce vapor still, but it is harsh electric tasting vapor.

I would like to return my Dura-C kit. I have been having bad luck with Janty, the customer service has been fairly good (although I am still waiting on a Mini Fogger kit (Order 19XX) I ordered over a month ago, and an extra mini fogger battery I mailed to Janty over a month ago after one failed).

I honestly really want to like Janty, the customer service has been pretty good. The products look great, the packaging is nice, but the products just seem to fail way too soon. I understand this is a relatively new industry, but my Dura-C doesnt work after 1 week of very light use, and after following all of the battery charging instructions to a "T".

I would like to send my kit back and recieve a refund if possible. If not, I will take a replacement kit, but I would really just prefer a refund. I might give Janty another shot in another 6 months or so, but for now I am going to have to put things on hold until the kinks are worked out.

Please let me know how you would like to proceed, and please let me know of a proper mailing address. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Jason XXXXXX"

-------------------

So I guess thats it. I just have bad luck or something.

The Dura-C gave me incredible throat hits, and I was a big fan of it, for the week I had it. Although during that week, I barely even used it (I am still on analogs, and was planning to switch over to the Dura exclusively in the near future).

So, I guess this is the million dollar question...

Who do I try out next?

I am kind of afraid of generic e-cigs, call me a prude or whatever, but I liked that Janty at least has the appearance of being a high quality product.

Can anyone reccomend a product (preferably a Mini, or close to that size) that is actually dependable, gives good throat hits, and doesn't leak like crazy?

I know e-cigs seem to be a bit of a gamble, but gosh, a week or working product? Thats terrible. Especially considering I spent about $100 bucks between the dura and accessories. Not to mention a couple hundred more on other Janty products. Grr.

Thats my rant. Thoughts, comments, suggestions?

Just so it's clear to you, the Joye 510 *is* the Janty Dura. You probably won't like it if you don't like the Dura.

That said, it may be that you don't realize how quickly the Dura drains carts. The taste when they get even a little low is horrid, even if it still appears moist. The trick is to either fill up a ton of carts before you go out (and change them as soon as you notice the bad taste), or to top them off *very* frequently with liquid.

To me, at home and at the office, topping them off every 30 puffs or so isn't so bad since it's no more trouble than stepping outside for an analog. I can usually get 4-6 drops of liquid just by topping off. It does pool up a little, which people say is bad, but it gives a good taste to me and that's what matters.

The Dura/510 is otherwise the closest I've come to a real cigarette though, especially with the 555 and/or Hilton flavors.

Sorry off the subject but I cannot post yet was wondering if anyone knew about the E-cigs that come in a cigarette like box that charges the battery. On the cigarette case is a lcd light when I screw the battery into the e-cig pack it stays red should it be like this all day with the light on?Or perhaps I only screw it in when it needs charged?I know the E pack acts as a charger to the battery but seems strange the light stays on on the epack.

I have the Dura C and haven't had any issues with mine at all, I also have 3 atomizers and 3 batteries and getting more replacements but if you are having issues with your Janty products, they are really good about exchanging it for a new kit. I bought the Mini Fogger and didn't even open it but they took it back so I could get more supplies for my Dura C. I heard somewhere that the parts are interchangeable with the TECC Titan and the Yeti (please correct me if I am wrong) so I bought the Titan just in case my Janty dies out on me. But try out other 510 models and maybe the Dura will pull through for you. I use mine HEAVILY, and I haven't followed charging instructions because I am bad with following instructions when it comes to charging but it has been great and I haven't had any issues whatsoever.

But sometimes you get issues :( it's a fact of life. But good luck! And definiately try out other 510 models, I like it a lot better than the DSE901 and my Mini Fogger.

I just got the new VX2 from litecigusa.com. Very fast service and quick responses to my questions.

So far, I am loving the VX2. I have a smokestik. pv too and the pen style is much better, imo. I like the tip especially. One thing that newbies like me should know is that it can be quite difficult to put the cart on the battery. I actually had to hold the thing against a wall and push! I like the menthol e-juice from smokestik, but am still trying others to find the best one for me.

As far as tips, Scott's video on dripping, filling and cleaning atomizers is the best I've seen here. Many thanks.

Is this what you are refering to? Very low quality eCig. Similar to the M401, but way over priced and very much lower quality. Has a plug built into the side of the pack.
