LMAO Ironically I just watched this same video! It seems easy enough I would just need to figure out where to get the supplies. If I do somehow screw this up, is there any way it could damage my battery?

There are some vendors that sell small quantities of rebuilding supplies at a reasonable cost. I like Lightning Vapes for two reasons. One, they are almost a one-stop shop for rebuilding supplies, and two, they have an Amazon store-front, and I'm an Amazon junkie, lol.

As to damaging your battery, yes and no.

On a regulated mod, most (if not all) have short-circuit protection built in. As far as I know they're reliable, but I'd rather NOT get into an accident than rely on my airbags.

However, unless you have a device that has a built-in resistance check function, you may throw the tank on the device and have it NOT fire, then it's up to you to figure out what went wrong. With a resistance check function, you can check the coil before you try to vape it.

As an option, you can buy a purpose-built atomizer ohm meter that's made for checking coils.

Got my PT's in today! Gotta say two days to ship across the country at no additional cost is awesome! I was also able to confirm they are legit with the serial numbers provided. I also checked each head with my built in ohm reader to make sure they worked, as I have read many are faulty. Lucky for me they are all good. Seems as though each tank was shipped with 2.2 and 2.5 ohm heads though not sure if that was deliberate or not.

I gotta say I love these tanks compared to my iClear 16. They are easier to pull from and just feel like better quality. All and all I am very happy with my purchase and plan to buy a few more next week. Next I plan on getting what I need to rebuild the coils.

sounds like you are doing great. Glad to hear about your success. but have you purchase an additional battery? always have a back-up, just in case something goes wrong. Think of it this way. One day all is good and you are vaping away and then bam, something breaks, you drop it and it breaks, any number of things could go wrong.(not saying it will). So now here ya are stuck with nothing to vape on. Whatcha gonna do? See my point? I would hate to see you go and buy a pack of smokes while waiting for another battery to be shipped.

just sayin......

:)
edit. and yes the two different ohm heads are a deliberate act. They do that with each Protank2 or Protank2 mini you buy.

:)

The Mini Protank II's are great little clearos. They don't gurgle, haven't leaked.... I don't use them anymore because I fell head over heels in love with carto tanks, but they are all my husband will use. He likes a cool vape, and can't stand to fiddle with anything. The Mini Protanks don't give him any problems. Plus, they look great on the iTaste VV v3. I almost miss mine enough for that alone.

Alright so I have run into an issue. I have 2 tanks filled with 2 different types of juice. Like I mentioned, I tested each head to be sure it read ohms which I assumed meant they were good. I just tried switching tanks to use the other flavor and it isn't vaping. I checked and it is displaying 2.4ohms but nothing. I tried 3 heads all with the same result! Am I missing something?

What you are missing is somehow you probably pushed the center pin on the battery down just enough so it doesn't connect. It happens sometimes.
Take a small screwdriver and gently lift up on the center pin, then rotate and gently lift up the other side of the pin. Not too much tho cause you don't want to pull it out.

Let us know.

Another thought while waiting for your response. Since you said it displayed an ohm reading, are you sure there is no liquid in the air shaft of the carto? If not, then you can take that same screwdriver and lower the head on the pt. You do this by quarter turns and test. If you look closely at the connection pin on the pt, you will see a little slot spacing for a screwdriver. To lower turn it to the left and to raise turn it to the right. Hence, righty tighty, lefty loosey.

lol

hold the mouthpiece up to your ear, and if the current is getting to the coil you should hear the popping sound; if not then its the connection to the battery that is the problem.
