Great Job Arkansas... ALL your other problems are solved now!

6. Arkansas
> Well-being index score:
64.3
> Life expectancy: 76.0 years (tied-6th lowest)
> Percent obese: 32.3% (5th highest)
> Median household income: $40,112 (2nd lowest)
> Percent with high school diploma: 84.8% (9th lowest)

Arkansas rated as one of the most physically unhealthy states as of 2013, ranking behind just two other states. Only 71.8% of residents were able to partake in age-appropriate activities, among the lowest rates in the nation, while 36.8% of respondents reported high blood pressure, one the highest figures of any state. More than 32% of respondents were obese last year, compared to 27% nationally. Arkansas had 222.5 heart disease-related deaths per 100,000 residents in 2010, fifth highest in the nation. Healthy behaviors in the state, as well as access to basic needs, were also rated lower than most other states. Likely contributing to the state's low rank in many of these measures is its large poor population. Nearly 20% of all people in the state lived below the poverty line in 2012, fourth highest in the nation.

Why in the world would you want to BASH an entire state and all of the 3 million people who live here ....... over a dumb vaping law? Seems very ignorant....

You don't live here and you are quoting statistics.....never representative of any place in real life. I've lived all over the US. One would be hard pressed to find a more modern, incredibly beautiful library than the one in Fayetteville, AR. Look it up sometime. (Northwest AR is NWA is the 23rd fastest growing metro areas in the US....there's a reason so many people want to live there. (escape CALIF, FL, NY, TX, etc.)

Look up Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art......considered a world class art museum built with Walmart $$.

Yes, Walmart headquarters is in AR. So is JB Hunt. So is Tyson. There is a ton of $$$ here. Bentonville is world renowned as a retail capital of the world....they put a regional airport there just for Walmart. :)

We have one of the top 10 Pediatric Hospitals in the entire United States (ARK Children's Hospital) Trauma Center 1 and ACH is one of only two hospitals in America that can fly an ECMO patient.

This is one of the hands down most beautiful natural environments I have ever lived in , and I am well travelled.

I could go on but there's no point. You are whereever you are and obviously not in touch other than to look up stuff from the census bureau or something, with no immersion into the place you are commenting on.

I absolutely hate it when people post stuff like this.....its so offensive.

It is because of the sale to minors thing right now. They can't verify age on the internet.

Bull.

Since when?

There are literally millions of websites that verify age every day.
Everyone here knows this.

Selective legislation based on a lie.

SMDH... I have family in AR.You can legally marry your 1st cousin, but you can't order vape supplies online now. Seems like the priorities are a lil out of whack to me.
I laughed so hard I blew juice and a little wick out of the air holes in my top cap.

I believe you have Arkansas confused with Alabama, Alaska, California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia, or Wisconsin – all of whom allow first cousin marriage, but not Arkansas.

Sorry guys, since I'm form AR I had trouble reading all those big words. My cousinwife had to rehook the Internet TV back up to the phone link. :p

All kidding aside, I'm glad to see that everyone here is giving me some confidence in the future. I'm still gonna try ordering (Gonna place a MBV order, then an ITC order) later on today. I'm gonna see how it goes down. I did contact coval Vapes the day this was announced to make sure it wouldn't affect my already on the way order, and they said it wouldn't, but they took Arkansas from their available shipping states.

So as long as I can get around that, everything should be okay.

The thing is.. how in the world can Arkansas impose any "penalties" on a company residing in another state without that states permission. The law is just borked.

If my business was in Florida and someone ordered liquid from Ar-Kansas, how in the heck could they enforce or impose penalties on me in Florida.

I would laugh if they tried.

Maybe they would send Willy to talk me into it.

IF Wally-World ever decides it wants to sell and ship Vape Equipment & e-Liquid,,,,
That Law would go POOF faster than two 1st Cousins can say "I Do" :thumb:

As long as the Gub-Mint continues making Asinine Laws to restrict & usurp Individual Freedoms, Citizens will find ways to disregard & circumvent.

They can and will go after out of state vendors.
Ask Tommy Chong how it worked out for him.

@Racehorse Arkansas IS one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. Mountains, rivers, lakes, forests, etc. One of the single most beautiful things I ever saw was at a "scenic overlook" off hwy 71 just north of DeQueen. There is a lake in a crater on top of a small mountain right off the road. It was fall and the sun was setting over the top of the crater, the trees were a thousand different shades of brown, orange and red. There was a flock of migrating geese playing in and over the water, which was perfectly still except where they broke the mirrored surface that was reflecting the sunset. It was moving.

That being said... I spent a month there every summer for the 1st 20 years of my life, and most of the folks I encountered there were the most prejudiced, backward, uneducated, religious zealots in the world. Like the Christian version of Jihadists. Litterally. And this includes the family I have there. I saw a group of folks from a church run a family out of town and set their house on fire because they were drinking beer on their front porch. My mother moved to Bentonville 12 years ago and I haven't seen her since because I won't go back. I'm sure there are decent human beings there, and I'm sure Racehorse is one of them, but I have never met one personally.

all of whom allow first cousin marriage, but not Arkansas.
I guess the law has changed. My maternal grandfather is one of 14 children who have, last time I counted, 168 grandchildren collectively (my mom's generation). My generation of that side of the family was over 400. 26 of them have birth defects associated with them being the product of several generations of 1st cousins marrying. The last time I was there, in 2002, it was for the wedding of 2 of my more distant cousins, who were 1st cousins. It was a pentecostal wedding, complete with snake handling. Scenes like that one are why most of the rest of the country thinks the way they do about Arkansas.

I would be interested in reading about it. From what I always understood the long arm of the law stopped at the borders. Would be interested in how an Arkansas policeman can arrest someone in Florida.

Maybe Tommy got out of his van on the wrong side of the state line? Probably was really cloudy for him.

NOt that it matters, it could have just as well been Democrats, except AR is pretty much a Red State. Locally all the county positions in my little town are mostly Democrat......

Democrats...go figure. Only progressives try to control people like that........... But, I don't care if it's Democrats or Republicans as they are ALL a bunch of criminals in Washington and quite a few of them belong in prison. If any of us did even a fraction of the corrupt things that they get away with then we would be in jail forever. All of this stuff makes me really angry what the "officials" in the "District of Criminals" is doing to us..... It's not just about vaping that I am angry, it's about everything that they are trying to control............ I have lived long enough to have watched our freedoms being quickly taken from us. We are turning into nothing but a socialistic police state. The young folks here can't see it as much because they were born into the way it has become but it's easy for older folks to see how we are losing our freedoms. Too bad to hear about Arkansas and it makes me hopping mad what they are doing. Usually, if they pass something or get away with something in one state then the other states usually follow suit. So I suppose the rest of us can expect the same thing soon.

No one is gonna come get you or check your mail.

Extreme scenario : the vendor who ships to you would be the one they would cite.

SOME people check your mail. We have a Postal Nazi that found out we were ordering cigarettes online (cheap, from a reservation), and reported us to the state taxing authority, who sent us a bill for "use taxes," which was coincidentally the same rate as the combined state and local sales tax, justified by saying that the last point of travel was within our state, even though we bought from OUT of state. Obviously the Postal Nazi had kept track of every package we received... she must have had to guess how many cartons were in each package by the size, or maybe she opened them all and resealed them. I don't know, and back then I wasn't suspicious yet, so I didn't notice if there was tampering. I AM suspicious NOW.

Just recently we ordered something from My Freedom Smokes, and I'm sure that pinged on her radar, too. I don't think we'll be ordering from them again, just because of the return name/address on the shipping label. It wouldn't in the least surprise me if we got another bill from the state tax authority. How they'd come up with an amount, because it was NOT cigarettes, I don't know, but I have no doubt they'll try.

I would love to move away from here, if for no other reason than to get a Post Office that doesn't think my business is THEIR business.

His (son Paris') business shipped an item (pipe) across state lines into a state with laws banning such items.
The state prosecutors actually ordered said item, not an individual.

In the end, at 70+ years old, He did prison time for it.
Just google it, it's a very well known story. A travesty of justice.

well you can always order vg and pg from amazon. flavorings are ok as well since they are not vape related specifically.
nicotine solution is the only thing that might be difficult, but im sure some company like wizard labs will send it to you.
I mean it isn't ejuice, its just a nicotine solution.
diy may be your best bet

yes, this is the kind of CRAP i am talking about! An average citizen does one little thing (that should not even be illegal) and they get prosecuted and sent to jail, fined, or both. But, yet these very same criminals who are making these laws can lie to the American people and congress (fraud) and they can do all manner of things such as receive money under the table to do favors for people of other countries and the list goes on and on etc. and they never even get touched. Now ask yourself how it is that those people can commit crimes and have all of the FREEDOM that they want but they make so many laws for us to follow that we can't even keep up with all of them. When gvts. grow to a point and passes so many laws that it starts restricting the freedoms of the average citizen, then that is a component of SOCIALISM..... Happened in Germany and it's happened to many other once great Countries. But, once socialism started, then the countries were no longer great. Socialism NEVER works and it is ALWAYS harmful to a Country!
