Well...I'm Really Disappointed in the Kanger T3

I've only been vaping for two weeks. Up until yesterday, I've only used Viva Nova Tanks. I have the Mini Nova, STV Nova and two Regular Nova's. I've seen so many people talking about the Kanger ones, and wanted to try them out. Placed an order for one T3 and one Kanger MT3...and two spare Atomizer heads. So far, I've only tried the T3. Don't know if I want to even bother with the MT3...If it's anything like the T3.

I will say this...I haven't had it leak like other people say theirs do...my problem is...NO TH! At all!! I'm using the same juice as I do with the Nova, so that can't be it. I'm using it with with a Vision Spinner...even kicked up to 4.8 V...still no TH. I just now took my husbands gear and gave him mine to make him finish off the juice in the Kanger T3. (I just love him like that LOL) I tried it for almost half the tank. Was thinking it might just needed to Break In, or something.

I did switch out to a Fully charged battery thinking maybe since mine wasn't completely full that might have been it...but nope, still nothing. Getting plenty of Vapor though.

Is there something I can do to get more TH from this thing??

Throat hit consists of 2 things: PG% and Nicotine dosage. What's your PG & Nic level?

Try placing a finger over one of the air holes to reduce the air intake and see if you get a richer hit. I found that to be the case with certain juices, so I just broke off the tip of a toothpick in one air hole.

It is a bottom coil design, you won't get the heat like you will with a top coil. Try some 1.8 ohm coils and turn the voltage up. That is the best you can do with the design. (i think lol)

I just got my Kanger MT3 and found the throat hit is more than satisfying, maybe try a higher nic juice.

In addition to what KerryK and Lowlife suggested, it helps to up your Nicotine dosage and PG % in your eJuice for a better throat hit.

Before you try your 1.8 ohm atomizers and turn the voltage way up on your device, check out the green Voltage/Resistance Chart link in my signature!! You don't want to be burning out your atomizer or melting away the wires if you turn the voltage too high.

I'm using 65/35 PG/VG with 24mg Nic. The Kanger T3 didn't come with different ohm..just what came with it..even when I ordered spares, you couldn't chose which one you wanted. I've got my Voltage all the way up on my Spinner...4.8.

Maybe it is because it's bottom fed?? Sure hope not..hate to have to just give these ups!

Ouch.. looks like it just might be the bottom feed?? Patience... hopefully, somebody can figure out what's truly going on before tossing your Kanger T3.

I am not thrilled with the Kanger MT3.....eh. Used the Fixing a leaky Kanger MT3 video...put them in backup position......Went to the cartos coupled with a UDCT tank 6mil....ain't looking back.

Your mind may be messing with you.
T3 MT3 and all Kanger Bottom coil devices are VERY airy. Not what a smoker/ex-smoker expects. It subdues the felling of getting a good draw.
You also get less e-liquid exchange due to the open air flow.

Tune your kanger to your liking easily. First test by vaping with a finger over one hole then by blocking 2 holes. This tightens the Draw and increases liquid release. Once you decide which you like just plug (x) hole(s) with the tip of as toothpick.

Surprisingly the T3 can/will vape just like the Vivi once dialed in.
Rinse wicks every 3rd tank or so to keep them fresh and long lasting.

You will get a burning taste before you burn anything out at least up to 4.8 volts. I turn my spinner up all the time on my EVODs with 1.8 ohm heads. Never burned anything out.

You can taste when you are getting to high just back down a bit.

T3/MT3s come with 2.4 ohm heads you can buy 1.8 ohm heads.

I like the kanger 3's alot, I tried blocking one of those holes and it does make a big difference

lol I just hold my finger over a couple of holes and I'm all good, need to try that toothpick trick! I like my T3 but it is airy if I don't hold a finger over it. My Kanger protank should arrive today (fingers crossed) I just ordered 8 oz juice, got all that juice for 52.00 yay me! My one and only question about the T3 is how tight to screw on the coil. Anyone?

Twist it down good and snug. You don't want it separating while removing the Kanger from a battery. What a mess!!

Or, try a T2. Better TH in my opinion, and warmer. In any case welcome to the wonderful world of vaping. Not every device works for all the people all the time. Often you just have to try something else. Ask any experienced vaper how many head units he's gone through in his time. Generally it'll be dozens, if not hundreds. Part of the process.

The grooves don't really have much to do with it. There are 3 holes in the connector that screws in the battery. You can plug them the same as the T3s and EVODs.

I used my MT3s for awhile then tried to plug the holes. I hated it. I got used to the airy draw and I love it now.

Burn out as in your atomizers would die much more quickly. Unless you ended up with some resilient wiring, that's typically the case. That's why Low Resistance atomizers die faster than Standard Resistance.
