A few days (weeks?) ago I posted about being so done with vaping and all that went with it (mostly cost and inconvenience). Unfortunately, my brain still does not agree. "What do you mean no hand to mouth activity??????" it has screamed. And the lack of juice? I noticed I was eating more. A lot more. To get that satisfaction of taste, I suppose. i don't know. It just felt like an epic fail.
But no guilt trips on myself. I'm practicing patience in A LOT of areas in my life right now.
ANYWAY...in my local vape shop, the staff totally had compassion on me. They set me up with a cartomizer, of all things. And a nice sleeve and drip tip and a new Spinner II....for FREE. Because they want to perpetuate my addiction/hobby? No. I don't think so. I think they truly wanted to make sure that I didn't head back to cigarettes out of frustration. And they recommended lowering my nicotine again...but not now. Not yet. So they patiently sampled out flavors and helped me switch from super sweet dessert flavors to fruit flavors (which I am not as hooked on). Who says Trix are for kids? (Shameless plug for Northern Lights juice that tastes just like old school cereal). What did I get out of it? Lots of flavor, and cartos last longer than coils and cost way less. Why haven't they hooked me up with cartos sooner? Well, as they put it, it's old school, old technology, but not necessarily a bad technology.
I know you were all hyped and proud of me for moving on and I do want to do that someday. But right now, I'd rather vape than even consider cigarettes - even one drag off one a co-worker is smoking when we are all on break at the same time. And so I am still a vaper. Just a different kind of vaper. And I'm okay with that. I'm okay with cartos and not dumping money in mods and the latest vape tech. I'm okay with a pen vape that slides nicely down the side of my Doc Martens while I'm at work and doesn't leak or flood or require so much attention or money. I'm okay with basic, out-dated technology in the vape world...just don't try to talk me out of the new iPhone 6 Plus.
