breakin down a buyin a pack. I'm have serious anxiety. Gonna try to smoke no more than 3 today. shame on me.

Please, please don't beat up on yourself. Like others have said, any analog avoided is a victory. Abstinence does not have to be the goal, especially so early in your vaping journey. Going 15 hours without an analog should be celebrated. So, try celebrating each one you don't smoke, instead of beating up on yourself for the ones you do smoke. Okay?

only had one since i last posted... just needed that one lol

Someone somewhere told me something that helps. When I'm really craving an analog, I take 5 or 6 drags on the Bloog without letting up. One after the other, long, deep drags. You dose yourself with nicotine (and end up with a huge cloud of vapor) and it helps the cravings. I've avoided a lot of analogs with that method. Especially after a meal, since I used to hose down an analog in a few minutes after every time I'd eat.

Hey one smoke or three or six ain't that much, and fighting a hang over may not be the best time to try something new. No shame here. There's plenty of things a fella can do that he ought to be ashamed of, but smoking ain't one of em. I've been using the bloog for about 8 or 9 days and this is my first day with no analogs. I'm well past my first 24 hrs without an analog now. Something I never thought could happen. The Bloog is keeping me satisfied, much to my amazement. I'm using nothing but 24mg carts, menthol and vanilla. I am using it alot, going through 3 batteries a day but I am beginning to slow down some now. Folks here recommended using high nicotine to start and I think that's the way to go. I'm not saying I won't have an analog fit tomorrow, but it's feeling good so far and I can honestly say I doubt it. Honestly I can hardly believe it, I haven't wanted an analog in a day and a half and I've been a heavy smoker for 40 years! Don't tell yourself that you can't smoke if you want to, if your like me that just makes you want it all the more. Maybe you need some other flavors. Find something that is a treat not a substitute, with plenty of nicotine. Best wishes.

Congrats Louie. I know the feeling when you go a long period of time and don't even think about an analog is an amazing revelation. After as long as I smoked, and for as much as I smoked, it still amazes me that more people don't know about e-cigarettes as a valid replacement for those stinky analogs. I think a whole lot of lives will be saved in the future as it becomes more widespread and acceptable.

Something just to keep in mind, if you find you are chain vaping when you were not a chain smoker, then the high nics could be too much. My friend's husband started out with 24mg but it rarely left his hand, and ended up getting a little sick from it. And he was a 3 pack a day smoker. I tried to tell them to get some lower ones, but oh well. I know for myself I have this think going constantly, more than when I smoked. I should probably get some 6s for the evenings, but 11 & 16 is what I've been buying and I rarely have cravings since I'm getting a pretty steady dose.

p.s. and drink water!

I have been thinking that I dare not buy a pack when I get a craving for just one because I would smoke the whole thing... Well today I jumped in my truck (It has been sitting for a while due to good weather) and found a half a pack I had forgotten about! I couldn't help my self. I lit one up and took ONE drag... I literally thought I was going to puke! I tossed the full cig and when I got to work the pack went in the dumpster. There is no doubt for me now, I have quit for ever!

That's great news. Amazing how awful they can taste now.
