went to work and....now I'm stuck

So... brought both my vaping equipment.... and before going in.... my favorite ejuice cart (which I am low on) starts with my favorite juice starts tasting like burning metal. like the metal itself is burning. I've tipped....I took out the .wicks and cleaned..... I even took out the coil and cleaned it and dry burned it, and put new juice in another flavor, while using my other wick and putting it back in the juice that's my favorite.... (so I switched the wicks between both of mine after rinsing and drying and dry burning...(not much I can do at work). It's been only through 2 carts full of juice....so I dunno what happened. It's halo, 2.4ohm, I'm wasting juice. I put new juice in the cart.... and it tastes even worse. Niccing out here now as even though I changed the wick in my good juice, and wasted a good amount of juice doing so, still tastes off...
I tried drawing without firing....

System... halo Triton. Stock..

Ah... now all I wanna do is buy a pack of smokes after work.... I'm 4ish days off

I'm not familiar with the Triton but is it VV? If so, maybe its up too high?

Hopefully you can make it through. I'd be going crazy too.

Not vv. The first one I can't taste the new juice I put in. Just get a nice burning metal flavored vape.....

This may be way off base, but the one time this happened to me with my vape I was incredibly dehydrated. Have you been keeping your fluid intake up?

Did you give the juice time to soak into the wick? It seems odd that both are doing the same thing. Maybe you were chain vaping? That would cause the wick to dry out and a burnt taste.

The second one may be vapers tongue... or the old juice got a bit of burnt metal taste in it....it's bearable.... not as bad as the other

No one will judge you if you want to smoke a cigarette. Quitting is a process. When I started out, and had equipment problems, I just got a couple of little flavored cigars. No need to have nic fits.

do not smoke a cigarette! that tank sucks! get something else! when i started it was just to get off cigs and a protank mini was good enough for that. even with a little 650 mah battery

Smelling or tasting "metal" in the way you're describing can be a sign of an impending medical condition. Are you feeling odd in any other way? Numbness in your face or extremities? Anything at all that feels unusual in any part of your body?

If so, you should go to an ER.

At the very least, call your doctor and describe what you're experiencing.

OK. I'd still recommend calling your doctor for advice. It'd only take a moment, and could end up being very worthwhile. And if not - well, it'd only take a moment of your time.

I've heard of people smelling and/or tasting metal as a vague symptom that can precede a stroke or other neurological episode. (I'm not a doctor, I only watch them on TV.)

Think it was the coil. It was weird that the cigarettes in my old pocket ashtray smelled like metal too...

Switched up my coils, and now Vaping Juicy fruit and Red Bull. Less tobaccoey... its not so metally, a little bit every now and then is all...

That sucks. This is exactly why I have an emergency ego, clearomizer, juice and charger at work. Hopefully you can just bum a smoke or two to get you by until you can get home.

I had two with me and juice. Just didn't know the problem But my favorite juice was wasted a bit. Oh well. Fixed now. Accidentally put the atomizer in vodka instead of tossing it though, so now I'm not sure which one is the bad one. I'll have to try em

Hope things are going Better today.

One thing that Some People do when they First Quit Cigarettes is to buy a couple Disposable e-Cigarettes and take them to work. That way if you have a Problem with your Main Set-Up, you can fall back and use a Disposable until you get home.

A Disposable may not be the Greatest. But if it keeps you from Buying a Pack of Smokes, they are worth it.
