I like to play it safe with amp headroom and I am not sure a 15 amp battery will do for me. I get nervous at 12 Amps with a 25r.
In Mooch's tests they perform almost identical to the LG hg2 and he classified them as 20 amp batteries. Samsung is known to underspec their batteries. Due to those tests I feel safe using them as 20 amp batteries.

I've tested four 30Q's and all were about 20A. The two PVA Type B batteries I recently tested are also 30Q's and they got a 19A rating. The difference between a 19A rating and a 20A rating is about a 3°C difference in operating temperature.

I was wondering about some of Peg's claims. I know he knows batteries, at least nowadays, but the "I select the best individual batteries and rewrap them" sounds suspiciously like bs marketing speak. Aren't the Sony-, LG-, Panasonic-, etc labelled batteries already the best, a-bin, batteries? I mean, the manufacturers don't put their names on substandard products. To get the very best one would need to buy huge numbers and individually test them, discarding the ones that don't fit the bill - like AW supposedly does (though there were bad slips there lately). I doubt PVA has a business of that magnitude.

@KenD...TBH, I don't know. What we normally get might not be A grade cells. Those might normally go to only particular customers willing to pay a premium. This opens up the possibility that there are better cells available than we normally see.
Ok, that makes sense. I'd think that one would have to buy considerable amounts to get to buy the a-bin batteries. And, as your tests kinda showed, if I'm not mistaken, the PVA 30q wasn't quite as good as the "regular" 30q. I guess what I'm getting at is that Peg is a salesperson :)

I ordered more from 101 too, I am now stockpiled on them. 4 sets of 3 for the rx 200 and 6 sets for duals and another 8 for my singles. not to mention about 20 samsung green 25r's,12 blue 25rs, 4 sets of vtc4s and 6 older vtc5's singles, I could vape for a month or more with no charging. Thats a great price for them as I can get 3 sets for 2.99 shipping or buy 8 sets and get free shipping. I think it breaks down to 4.87 each. I have never see them that cheap.

while i admire your stockpile, im not sure having that many charged all at once would be good for the cells. if you're not doing this already, i would suggest to keep most of your batts at 3.7v, then just charge what youll use in the next day or so up to 4.2v. keeping fully charged batteries for an extended amount of time without using them damages the internal makeup of the cell.
