I have had the WetBox for three weeks and it is now dead. I changed the carto and batt nothing. I put them on my bartleby and they work fine. Has anyone else had a problem with their WetBox? I love mine but thought I would get more than three weeks out of it.

I don't have a Wetbox but I do have two box mods that are similar and I had problem a few weeks ago where I thought one of them was bad or several of my batteries were bad. Seems the positive connector in the box mod had bent just a tad and the batts were no longer making a good connection. Checked it out and I finally was able to see where it was not making good connection, but I was unable to get it to "bend" back without applying what I was afraid might be too much force. I was able to make a little plug with heavy duty alum foil and left a little tab on it, inserted it between the battery and the connector and wonder upon wonders, it works fine now.

Might not be your issue, but worth a look. Also, one of your wires might have come loose, I have heard of others having that problem too.

Good luck and maybe someone else will have a better clue.

Thanks. I started to move the switch around and it started to work. I think I am having a problem with the switch.

This is the issue w/ mine. I trouble shot the carto, batts and contact wire; all were fine. I finally did what you explained above and it worked for a little while. My friend also got one, his switch is fine but he had to re-solder the red contact wire.

I expect some issues w/ homegrown mods. Most problems are simple to fix although the epoxy makes it a little trickier.

PS. My understanding is that the magnetic spacers are only needed for the high drain batts and not the regular 14500. Feel free to correct me.
