Hey all!

I wanted to start posting since I have been reading posts here and constantly learning new things every day! I was a smoker for about 15 years and then I quit cold turkey and that lasted for about 12 years. Then, like an idiot, I started smoking again! It all started with a drag or 2 here and there off of a black and mild at work. (don't ask why! lol) Then, before I knew it, I was smoking like a pack and a half or more of analogs a day! That is more than I smoked before I quit. Well, my wife smokes and her son bought her an ego for mothers day. I was pretty intrigued and I would try it every now and then, but had no intentions of quitting the anologs. I liked it, but I wanted my own! So, I ordered a starter kit that included an ego rs with a phoenix atty, a ce4 and a ce5. I bought the kit because it came with so many different cool toys, but I had no idea what they were for! Anyway, the kit came in and I used it quit a bit at first, but once the flooding and short battery life my interest quickly subsided. I went a few months and wouldn't touch a pv because of the frustration and the fear of getting liquid in my mouth. Then, for whatever reason, my interest was renewed. So, I started reading and trying to figure out if it was possible to avoid the issues I was having. The more I read the more curios I got. So, with still no intentions of quitting analogs, I ordered and evod kit and tried my luck with it. I actually did get lucky by getting one that worked like it was supposed to. I started reading and trying different things like making my own liquids, taking out a flavor wick etc. and I was in vapeing heaven. That is, until I dropped it on concrete and it was flodding like crazy. But I still enjoyed vaping, so I tried my old rs again and did more research. Once I figured out that the Evod and the pt2 used the same coils I was like "eureka!" I would buy a pt2 and extra coils and I could prolly get the evod working again to boot. Then I discovered you could recoil themand I was hooked on the hobby. Still suffering from short battery life, I ordered a 1300 spinner. Battery life was better, but without passthrough, I started keeping both batteries with me and kept studying up on the whole vapeing world. Well, Saturday I ordered an mvp v2 and feel pretty confident that it will be all of the battery I need.(I should get it this week) But it isn't even about being practical, it's the joy of learning the ropes and looking at different setups, modding etc. Oh, and I haven't had an analog in almost a month! That was a side effect I wasn't even looking for.......:) I look forward to learning a lot from you folks. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experiences!

Your right. This a great hobby. I started out with cig a likes with prefilled cartos. Now I have
2 mods, 1100 and 650 batteries. Third mod on the way. Bunch of tanks. And over 30 bottles of juice. I have spend a good amount of money on my gear, but I have saved more than I spent since I quit smoking. I would rather spend my money on this rather than analogs. Not to mention it is healthier.
