As I'm pretty new and inexperienced to this, I've been reading everything I can find about vaping. A lot is over my head, but I'm a smart guy and I'll pick it up.

But then, something occurred to me. My father has been smoking a pipe for about as long as I can remember. Obviously, pipe smokers don't inhale, but they get their nicotine anyway. I don't think I've come across any kind of E alternative for pipe smokers. He is a pretty tech savvy guy and just might embrace this kind of thing. Are there any options for people who are exclusively pipe smokers? I definitely want to try to turn him on to this vaping thing.

Right now, I'm comfortable with the cig-a-like think. Is there such a thing as a pipe-a-like?

Oh, I remember it well when they took his beloved Captain Black Red off the market. My brother and I scoured the web and managed to grab about a year's supply of it but since then he has been doing tobacco store blends and I know it isn't the same for him.

There are a lot of pipe options out there. Just Google "E-cig pipe mods" and get started. Grimm Green did a vid or two on pipe mods and you can check those and many more on You Tube. Hope that helps you get started! I personally haven't used one yet, but will eventually plan on adding one to the collection.

You should try a sample pack from Halo, there was one or two that reminded me of pipe tobacco. Might just be me though.

it is a bit harder to find pipe mods but they are out there and starting to become more popular so more variety and cheaper in price finally.

My next mod I think will be a pipe mod may have to find someone to make me one though as I'm very picky and I want it to be the "jewel" of my little collection (lmfao well the start of my collection of mods)

I would think pipe/cigar smokers would have an easier time switching to vaping since they are more about the taste than just the nicotine. There are lots of good juices out there that will give pipe/cigar smokers the taste they crave.

A pipe mod is going to be my first build, just as soon as I get all the parts collected. I think it will look cool smoking a pipe instead of an e-cig.

I ditched my pipe 17 days ago after 20 years of puffing on it. Vaping was a easy transition for me and so far I havent missed it one bit!! Well the only thing that seems to be bother me at all is not having the pipe in my mouth. I hope to rectify that problem here very shortly with a actual Pipe Mod. Quitting tobacco with vape was very easy for me!!!

I will start by saying I am not a pipe smoker. I am a cigar smoker. There are some very decent tobacco e-liquids available for vaping, but do not be surprised if he says they are not as good as his pipe tobacco, because they are not. The flavor of a real tobacco in a cigar and I assume in a pipe, is richer than the e-liquids I have sampled. Now, on the opposite side of that argument, the flavors are good enough that it makes a great alternative for smoking in the house or in public where people frown about lighting up the pipe or cigar.

I would not worry too much about the style of the vaping equipment as much as getting the best tobacco flavored e-liquids possible. Make sure to choose ones that are a tobacco extract, or he will be very frustrated. If you know what flavor of tobacco he chooses, you should be able to find a similar flavor. I mentioned in another post that I just tried a Bourbon Seasoned Cigar flavor that was quite nice. The same company makes a variety of liquids targeting pipe smokers, too.
