I have 2 Vision Spinners,,,,,,,,1300 mah.

Neither one lasts longer than 5 hours. If it were only ONE, I'd assume there was something wrong with the batts,,,,,

I am a heavy vaper,,,,,,,but I could get about 8 hours with my Volt X2s.

I have 1.8 ohm heads,,,,,

and I am generally running at 3.5-3.8 volts.

I was sure the low volts would make them last closer to hte 8 hour mark.

Could it be the low ohms?

Oh, yeah!

Power (watts) = volts squared / resistance

When I bought a spinner it is because I want a more-powerful (and more-controllable) vape than on an X2 (long time ago)

So, if I put in a 2.8 ohm head and run 4.1 volts, I got a vape I like better than 2.6-ohm with 3.7 volts. It will use more power. But there are a lot of threads here that say the SAME power is better with higher resistance, due to some more ohms-law math.

So, you are running about 8 watts: (3.8 * 3.8)/1.8 = 8.0222 and apparently you like that vape. (1.8 ohms on your X2 should have been about 7.6 watts)

So if you ran 4.6 volts with 2.8 ohms, or 4.3 volts with 2.4 ohms, you should get the same vape but the battery might last longer. HOWEVER, the only way to (maybe) get the spinner's power consumption down to what the X2 had would be to adjust it to be a "virtual X2" which I presume you didn't want or you'd still be using the X2?

There are also brand issues everywhere, so no promises you won't have them with the spinner. I found my spinner lasted MUCH longer than an X2 when I vape at 6 watts but I like 7.

Could always try a itaste MVP 2600 mah .

I could,,,,,,but I'm not in love with the shape.

I am starting to get sick of buying batteries that are good for 3 or 4 months, then tossing the whole thing and buying new.

and I'm tired of short batt life.

but I am so not a big mod person.

sigh.

ProVari mini's are little Sigelei has a mini Zmax out now, I think it's really cute. Currently it only come in an 18350 configuration, but there is supposed to be an extension cap on the market soon.

This always makes me smile get a mini and a ext cap why not just get the bigger mod to start with;-) a telescope is the most economical solution for multiple battery sizes.

True, but they don't come in purdy colors. I like the 18350 size better, but that's just me.

You mentioned the shape as an issue, you could always get a box mod. There are mods that take the 14500 as well, though I can't think of the names off hand. My first mod was the Janty stick (also Janty's first mod) was a box that used one 10450 (size of a AAA) You could build one of these easily just look up nicostick. It's a sticky in the modders' forum
