So yesterday I got this Joytech eGo Mega Twist+, I'm new to vaping, never done it before, I followed the instructions to assemble it, at first it worked fine, tried some different wattages, but after some time I was getting e-liquid in my mouth, after doing some research I found out you can't just pick the wattage you want but you need to look at the Ohms of the coil, so I thougt I ruined my first coil (wich was 0.5 Ohm) I now installed a 1.5 Ohm (lvc clapton 1.5ohm mtl) using 15W. And all I get is hot e-liquid spitting out of the device, not even a little bit of smoke...

Already cleaned the whole thing but the problem persists, it also makes some smoke or condens in the 'reservoir' I made a small video, but it's unclear at the end...

Welcome!

I'm not real well-versed on the eGo Mega Twist+, but the topper looks like a Cubis (Pro?) One thing I have found with this little beastie is to WAIT, WAIT, and WAIT a bit more after you fill/refill. I constantly had been slurping right after a refill (muy nastay)

The other thing is "start low" and "work your way up", especially if you're running a new coil. For 0.5Ω coils, I'd probably start around 18-20W and take a light hit. If that wasn't any good, I'd bump a watt or two and try again. Of course, this is all after the above - LET IT SIT for a good 5-10 minutes after a fill.

With the 1.5Ω coils, I'd probably start around 10W and work my way up from there.

The Cubis tank is really awesome if you can be patient enough to get past the initial fill/prime period.

Thx for your reply!

Well it's been about 2 hours now since I've refilled it. Problem is, it doesn't produce any smoke at all...
And yeah it's a Cubis Pro.

The Cubis line is notorious for flooding. Whip the tank downwards a couple time to expel the excess liquid, and try again...

That didn't help, the liquid just came out of the mouthpiece...

Has the Air Flow control gotten Closed somehow?
Nah I can open and close it manually.

One thing I've had to do - get a towel/paper towel and cover as much of the tank as you can. Flip it upside down and BLOW into the mouthpiece. Preferably when it's not too warm - hot liquid HURTS

That can help clear a flooded chamber

When it's working right, it's a DELIGHTFUL vape. Otherwise, you need some patience to get it there..... Not used "routinely", but I have a couple

I'm not super familiar with that Tank. But one thing that is Kinda Funky is it looks like Vapor is going into the Tank. Something I have Never Really seen on Any Tank.

It's like a Seal is Missing or Something?

Maybe those who have this Tank can Chime In on this.

My cubis tanks always always flood after refilling. I have to roll up a piece of paper towel in a long thin stick and push it into the airtube to soak up the excess liquid. I can also try to vape it upside down which will vaporize the liquid while no more enters the coil...of course that leads to liquid in the mouth till you get it cleared.

IMO, the problem stems from the air pressure forcing juice into the coils when you screw the top on after filling. After you fill it, try to barely screw on the top and then turn it upside down and finish screwing the top down.
