What are some accurate flavors?

My DSE601 e pipe just arrived the other day along with the three juices I ordered. I ordered from e-cigarette-USA.com. The three flavors I ordered were Pipe Flavor, Mocha, and Almond- all three of which pretty much taste the same. The first few days they smelled like flavored personal lubricant and pretty much tasted like nothing (with a faint hint of burnt rubber), but after a few days of them sitting with the cap removed as it's been suggested, they have improved quite a bit. The burnt rubber taste is mostly gone and they now have a very faint sweet taste, but they still don't really taste much like anything, it's very very light. Almond is the one I like best, but it doesn't taste like almond. All three smell much better too, but still very light.

I heard that juices from freedomsmokeusa were good, so I ordered Irish Cream, Pipe, Heeath Bar, Grape Concord, and Apple, all with extra flavor in hopes that I will be able to taste the flavor more. I have a few comming in 50pg/50vg and a couple in 100%vg. (I believe that the ones I have are 100%pg and I wanted to see the difference.) I got them in 0mg since I really just enjoy the action of pipe smoking, not the nicotine part of it. I also never liked how my throat would feel scratchy after smoking a pipe, which is why I thought that an e-pipe would be good for me. I am waiting for the juices to arrive.

My question is: Can anyone tell me some of the flavors that they've tried that taste the most like what they're supposed to taste like?

(Also, can anyone tell me: Do e-liquids from e-cigarette-usa.com just kinda suck, or is this the way it is? (faint generic taste, etc.) Because when I first imagined vaping, I imagined clouds of flavor filled goodness, but that hasn't been my experience so far. Does it get much better with better suppliers, or is this just how vaping is?) It's still fun, but I thought that I could have a lot more fun with flavors (I was also hoping to try some far out flavors like Peppered Jerky and such) so I hope I hear some good news!

Thanks!

Ugh, I wrote up this huge reply and then my screen refreshed and I lost it all :( oh well...

Keep in mind that the overall experience depends a lot on hardware, and some flavors will taste better on atty's vs carto/clearomizers, etc. YMMV.

Velvet Vapors - Home - Incredible stuff, everything I've tried from them matches tastes so well it amazes me. What you don't realize at first is that vanilla is kinda mediciney in real life, so cut that stuff ;)
Ms T's Bakery Essentials - yeah, oh yeah, snickerdoodle...I think she's a baker IRL so it comes as second nature...
Gourmet Vapor - one of my personal favorites is vanillarum, but some of the customer creations are hit or miss.
VaporBomb.com - great vendor, and the one I started with based on friends recommendations. I probably order more from them than anyone, but their pastry flavors (danish, bun, snickerdoodle) seem to taste a bit stale to me, especially after trying Ms T's and velvet.

I am a die hard FSUSA verone has a favorite. I hear Backwoods Brew is to die for. It just takes time to find the right juice. If you dont want the TH, 100% VG is the way to go. Heavy vapor, pipe like, and less to NO TH. PG and Nic will give TH.

Also time will "age" your juice and the flavor usually gets stronger. My juice comes "clear" but gets darker everyday. Steeping is a good method, take the lid off, let it sit for a few days or even weeks and it will taste much better.

I don't have much more advice for you but thought we should get this back to the top!

Good luck. Jimmy

I've had a good run with *some* (not all) of the flavors I have ordered form various sites. Vikingvapors for one, and vaporkings on the other. I ordered grape from both sites, VV's grape tastes liek a cough syrup grape, whereas VK's grape is like a Faygo Grape (us Michiganders will know that flavor well ;) ) and both sites have a nice flavorable Coke. VK's Dr. Pepper is spot on as well.

I think what it is is its 90% product, 5% what you are using to vape it, and 5% imagination.

No! Some companies just suck! lmao. First of stay away from anything dealing with china. Each site has something special about it. I get my flavors from two specific sites. For my regular liquids i got to darthvapers.com for the simply tobacco liquids. They have some great flavors too. I think they have the best menthol on the market. Thats my personal opinion. Another flavor I love is the Energy cow (redbull).Their Ry4 is great too. I'm also a sucker for their smurf berries. You should try getting a sampler pack. From a few different sites. The two I shop around at is E-Liquids - Darth Vapers , and also freedomsmokeusa.com. Best of luck, just don't get discourage. Stick with it!

For me, some flavors just don't translate well into juice. Never had a great chocolate, and anything with cream flavoring can be weird.

I stick to basics- menthol/mint & fruit. Anything more complex than that gets old really fast. I never really get tired of my juice because there's not much to get tired of. I'm getting the nicotine with a bit of flavor.

Hahaha... darthvapers.com. I might have to check them out just because of the name.

And yeah, Creamy/chocolately, any type of thick flavors tend to not do it for me as well. Also, when considering a flavor, you will also need to ask yourself, is this something that you can enjoy 2-3 weeks down the road? A month later? I tend to bounce between Cola/Dr. Pepper and a tobacco-based flavor, like 555.

VG dulls flavor and TH. If you want flavor use juices with more PG.

Some good flavors

Vixen Vapor Peach
Gourmet Vapor Vanillarum (vanilla + caramel and rum)
Velvet Vapors Raspberry Gingerale

----

Also - what does DSE610 use? If it uses an atomizer then every flavor you try will be mixed in the atomizer with everything before it. I would have recommended the Jazz Cartopipe which uses standard cartomizers. Cartomizers have limited lives but keep each flavor separate. Most standard cartos work best with thin (high PG) juices, not what you bought. I use 20% or less VG juices in cartos.

BTW FreedomSmokeUSA Pomegranate - not sure how accurate (could be a bit more acidic) but it's a nice strong clean fruit flavor. I bought the flavorings too and plan to mix up my own. And their Hopscotch is also a very very nice flavor - tastes like Honey and Butterscotch to me - but only available as 50/50 (so I drip that one instead of using it in cartos)
