Depends on what wattage you are vaping at. Batteries have two major capacities capacity and drain rate. The first is how much energy it can hold, the second is how fast they can dump that energy. Batteries with more capacity tend to have lower drain. A mod may say it can run at “up to X watts” but it can really only run at up to the drain level of its batteries.
To make it more fun there are battery rewrappers and counterfeiters that will outright lie about these numbers to sell a cheaper battery. This means it’s important to get an authentic battery from a reputable reseller.

i strongly encourage you to read mooch's blog, learn ohm's law and how it applies to regulated mods

Only buy cells from known reputable dealers to avoid fake/counterfeit, lesser quality or erroneously labeled re wrapped cells.

A little info about how you vape and the wattage you use would help in recommending the best cells. There's no reason to buy high amp cells if you vape below 30 watts. OTOH, If you are vaping at high wattage you need cells that can deliver 20 amps or more. As amperage draw rises, vape time diminishes. To get the longest vape time the batteries need to be matched with your wattage preference.
MAH (milliamp hours) ratings indicate how long you can vape on a cell before charging it. Amp ratings tell you the current level the battery can deliver. Your mod should show the amp (current) draw or the coil voltage in the display when you vape. Tell us what your wattage or voltage level is and we can recommend the right cells to give you the most vape time in a safe current rating on a cell.

Except Panasonic doesn't make a high drain battery with enough amps to be used for vaping, so why mention it?

Since the Aegis Legend is a dual battery mod, you get double the wattage over a single battery mod.
So for example Sony VTC6 cells are rated as 15 amp batteries. Each one provides up to 45 watts, so using two gives you up to 90 watts. If you will vape more than 90 watts, choose higher amp batteries.

@rammstein when you've chosen the type of battery you want, you should buy 4 of them and a good charger, that way you can keep vaping while 1 pair are being re-charged. make sure you keep each pair together or "married" and store them in a case or sleeve when not in use

The legend won’t actually go to 200w. Even with 30a drain batteries (the highest drain actually made) it will only do 180w. It’s the batteries that determin actual maximum wattage not the mod. Use lower drain batteries and the actual wattage will be lower still.
There are 3 battery mods made that go higher than the ageis. Are you saying that it was the only 2 battery device at the store you bought it at? That’s very possible. One store won’t sell every vape available though.

Hi Rammstein, if you look at Baditude's post above, showing the batteries and wattages, and you are vaping up to 75 watts using any of the following will work fine for you in your Aegis. They are all highly recommended batteries by Mooch, who is the battery expert, so they are all very good batteries.
Personally I really like the Molicel P26A's.

Daniel's charts show the Legend easily hitting 200W+ across a wide range of resistance.
Perhaps I should be more clear the highest drain batteries can’t SAFELY handle more than a 30amp drain. It doesn’t mean they won’t DO it. It just means it’s not safe. You could throw 10amp off brand garbage in there and hit 200w. For a little while anyway. You’d have hot damaged batteries of course. You might even vent one.
