What are the best batteries?

I have had really bad experience with batteries (not dangerous experiences). I usually just pop into a vape shop, and ask for some 'decent' batteries and they never seem to hold good battery life after a few months of use.
Are there any brands or certain batteries to consider or avoid?
My mods only support 18650s, although I'm sure someone may benefit from other battery sizes if you have specific recommendations for others.

I do charge them in a proper charger, rather than just plug it in, just to put some minds at ease!

Not sure on the brand, my current ones seem unbranded, they do say IMR if that means anything haha, I just get whatever the shops suggest

That's about the color of Sony's, though Sony per se is no longer making cells for e-cig use. There is Murata, which iirc was spun off from Sony. I'm not sure just what names are being used these days between the two.

They're supposed to be decent batteries no?
Might have to invest in a better charger then and get some replacement batteries ordered, I got these batteries a few months back and they're already noticeably short-lasting

I've got a pair of samsungs that I've been using near 3 yrs. They are just now showing signs of not lasting all day.
