What are the Specifications needed for a Passthough Adaptor?

I have a DSE103 PT that works fine when plugged into the usb port of my laptop but will not work when plugged into an ac/usb adapter rated at 5v/500Mah. The PT doesn't have an inline battery as does my 510 PT which works fine in both port type. (510PT does have inline battery). Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi J--the reason why your passthough will not work is because the rating on your adapter is not high enough. A passthough needs at least 5v/ 1000mA's or 1 amp. You are using a charger which is rated at 500 mA's which simply is not enough power to fire the atomizer.

Another good thing to remember is mA's is a rating of power and mAH's is a rating of life expectency. So look for an adaptor rated at 5V/ 1000 mA or 1 Amp.
