What are you Obsessive/Compulsive about in Vaping?

For me it's:

Wicking - rewicking when there is only a hint of crustiness
- recoiling instead of dry burning
- using designated 'wet' and 'dry' scissors for wicks

tanks - Filling as soon as they get down to half way

There's more but I don't want you to think I belong in a padded room just yet

My coils, and habits, would drive you nuts. Dry burn, pick off the crustiness, wipe the scissors off on my pants, Vape it till it’s dry, etc.

My contacts though...

Mirror shine on them, anything else drives me nuts.

Everything has to match, be functioning properly and not be fiddly. I hate fiddly stuff. I just want everything to work perfectly with little effort lol.

Agree with all your points. I’m very much the same. And stainless steel drip tips must always be clean. Can’t have any marks or skin marks or lip marks or anything like that. And yes, slightest hint of a change in flavour, quite often a new coil must be wrapped rather than just dry burning.

Im compulsive about not cutting the cotton perfect on the first go and have to incorporate a 2nd set or get my first set wet. Ridiculous

I just lick it off and continue vaping. I thought that was what people were doing when they use in posts, but now like Zutankhamun I'm not so sure anymore

You're supposed to fill the inside. Of the tank. Easy mistake.

Tank and mod colors match or complement, check.
Functioning properly, check.
And that most definitely means no leaks! check.

But I think I spent all my CDO time (it MUST be alphabetized!) building reliable systems and enough backups to be comfortable, no matter what.

Heck, I still don't cut the grass without two mods on me!

yeah I don't much care for leaky tanks either (that's the vaping event I detest the most) ..... But, But, But, if you purchased a properly designed tank AND provided that it is wicked properly then leaks rarely happen.....

Agreed on wicking 1 and 2. Agree with @smacuser the rest of the way.
Get a good vape. Wipe when necessary. Rebuild when necessary. Repeat.
I'm only OCD about the taste of the vape, tbh. (edit: and TH!)

I wished I could even taste any juice properly to be OCD about the subject I have ......ed taste buds that don't seem to work too good. About the only flavor I can really taste from a juice is cinnamon flavored juice. I must have spent a fortune on fruit flavors but they are weak and I can barely taste them

Too late.

For me every mod and tank must be SS so everything can be swapped around and still match.
Also TC. I won't vape anything any more that is not TC. I am spoiled to the fast ramp up to the plateau and smooth hit all the way through, regardless if I take a quick fast puff, or a long slow one, same great performance every time.
