What are your hobbies?

Thought I would start a thread so we could all share our hobbies. Thought it might be an idea to get to know each other a bit more.

I will start. I like playing and writing music, Mad on flying RC helicopters, and fishing mainly. Oh and my PS3 keeps me occupied now and then.

Music... been a bass player for over 30 years and currently play in both a Christian and Country band. Billy Croft and the 5 Alarm...

Kites - Been flying quad line stunt kites since 2006.

Reading, computer games, video games, diving, knitting, fine embroidery work, crewel, needlepoint, spinning (uh, using a spindle to make yarn - not the exercise thing) and walking...almost all of which can be done while vaping Hmmm, this list makes me look rather undisciplined Plus, I am certain I am missing something!

Hmmm. I used to knit voraciously, not so much anymore. I was a trekkie, not a trekker, because I am old school, but I stop short of the fake ears. Have been known to do some wire wrapping, beading, and make a little jewelry. I collect various scents of a specific brand of Gothic perfume oil, which has some remarkable similarities to collecting V4L cartos. I play a lot of Flash computer games, but much prefer to hang out here. And I collect V4L. Hey, guys, it's time for some swag, yes?

My work has apparently become my hobby, as I have been laid off for some little while now.

EDIT: After reading Conard's response about hobby becoming a business, it reminds me how much I used to love to travel, until I took my present job. When I'm working, I'll sometimes spend 8-10 months a year living in a hotel. When I take a vacation, people ask me, "Where are you going?" I'm always going home. How boring, but the last thing I want to do on vacation is spend time in a hotel room.

Building and playing on computers is probably my chief hobby... Followed by my love for knives and swords... I'm a collector of many things.... A lot of rare black metal albums... If I love a band I make it a mission to get everything they've ever done.... I have a large number of Alexander Ovechkin rookie cards and autographs.... Talking on here is very high up there as well...

My main love is fishing. I grew up fishing 5 evenings a week with my dad and continue to enjoy it today. Our lake has a great population of tiger muskie, northern, and largemouth bass. I also enjoy hunting small game and really enjoy deer hunting in the fall.

I also enjoy astronomy and have a nice apochromatic refractor but I haven't been observing as much since we moved to such a great fishing area.

Reading, over the last few years I've found a way to read much more by listening to Audiobooks on my way to/from work. I also like to read news, blogs and forums... mostly politics and gadgets until I found you fine folks. I am helplessly addicted to my television. I know, it rots the brain but whether it's Fallout (PS3), Rugby/Football, US Reality shows or UK comedy... it just sucks me in. Saying that, when I do get out, I've got the tunes turned up/the rag-top down and ever so slightly exceeding the speed limit...bliss...

And Travel. Love travel. Any travel, well not any travel. I prefer running water and pillows.

I try to avoid hobbies. Every hobby I have ever had has turned into some kind of business and there are just so many hours in a day
I do love to travel for non-business. Last week we were in Central America.
I enjoy photography, was a hobby that turned into a business and is now just a hobby again.
Used to hunt and fish but don't love it enough to take time away from other things any longer.
I try to take a dozen or so long hikes each year and that about all the extra time I can come up with.

I enjoy being an artist. Watercolors are my favorite, but also do most any medium. Always find time to do my favorite hobby, and that is spending time with my husband ♥ since he retired. OH OH oohhhhh, and my bestest new hobby of all....Vaping with my V4L stuff !!!

Crochet, sewing, cooking (and eating), travel (any kind, camping and hostels included)...I used to collect music boxes and antique glass but then I discovered all that stuff needed dusting ...now I mostly save my $$$ for vacations and nice restaurants.

I also enjoy bicycling and hiking. I hate the gym. I am considering taking up boxing or some sort of martial art...I feel the need to kick some ... every once in a while LOL

Surfing (my main obsession), Skiing, Horseback riding, Fishing, Skateboarding, Rollerblading, Scubadiving. If I can't do these, I have a gym in my basement with a treadmill, bike, ski trainer, Universal set and free weights! Other than sports stuff, I LOVE Madonna and also do a fair amount of Ebaying(although, lately, spending time here on the ECF, has kinda taken me over!)

Adama you rock some dreadies? I would love to see a pic! how old are they? I have soooo many friends with dreads and my boyfriend has dreads that are 2 years old. I help maintain them sometimes! I also have a friend that installs and fixes dreads professionally!

My hobbies huh? well.. I have been learning to crochet lately. Ive been getting pretty good at that! I have two fish tanks and I like taking care of the fishies. I fed my plecostomus a piece of cucumber for the first time yesterday and he looooved it!
Im a singer. Ive been in high ranking choirs most of my life. I got to sing the national anthem with my choir at the Easter sunday game in Boston back in 06. heck yes I was on the field! I totally stole some rock! I also got to sing for important political people in Washington DC, like my state reps. Got to go in the secret underground subway for the important people of DC and tour the buildings.

Im a gamer, we gots a 360 and a couple ps3s and what not. Im a Final Fantasy nerd I also liked Halo back in the day.
Im first and foremost an artist. I draw and paint and do digital work. Maybe Ill share some stuff sometime.

Im also getting into spinning poi. I've spun fire once! my boyfriend is the fire spinner really. I just kinda learn a few things here and there to participate with friends! hmmm maybe I can find a video of a friend.....

Thats a buddy of ours, Justice. He's part of the Masked Skullz crew. He actually moved to Australia recently to be awesome. This video is from Plunderfest last summer. We kinda built a pirate ship on the main stage!

Anyways those are my hobbies I can think of right now. of course my favorite hobby right now is vaping and you guys!

Figure skating. These days mostly Adult Synchronized (team) skating. It's fun !
Used to love various craft work like origami and playing a small harp, but have RSI and can't anymore.
Enjoy sewing - making my own clothes & especially figure skating costumes - love all that bling!!! Which is why my 1st V4L battery was a Diamond series.
Vaping & this forum seem to have taken on a life of their own.
