what are your opinions on the 3VO

I personally prefer variable over selectable but for the price seems to be a good choice. There's been a few videos on it, some linked below. For the price I'd recommend it over the Lavatube, don't have to worry about the regulator sneaking up on you and dropping voltage without notice, more durable as well.

Just a little side note, although it does have a press fit pressure release cap it does not come with vent holes, but they will drill vent holes on the bottom if you just put that you want them in the notes. For that price, I would personally go with a Lava Tube. If you use alot of low res, then I would get the VV Ego's.

I've had mine for about a month now and I still love it. The battery charger that comes with it is pretty useless but I already had a Trustfire charger so I didn't care. I would also suggest picking up some extra bats if you get it. I know he has the AW ICR 16340 750mAH on his site.

what about the batteries that they come with? are they protected? i did watch a couple videos, grimmgreen and pbusardo, about to watch the other that was just posted also
