I'm trying to ask questions for a reason. Making sure I have everything ironed out. Looking for respones to things tha I may not have ironed out and information on them. Looking for information on things that I may not understand.
you don't need to be a electrician to buy and use a mechanical mod, this is simply untrue. I'm a smart dude, therefor I don't want to dedicate too much time looking for the answers. A lot of people that i've talked too talk about this stuff like it is over my head when they themselves are not understanding any of it.
I'm not saying you need to a master's degree to use one but learning the things you need to know are best
"which batteries are better for your builds?" - Mind providing a link or a reference to this idea? Most people go with sony 30amp(vtc3 or vtc4), aw imr 1600mah, mnke or efest 30 amps( there are a few out there)
"know what you are looking for from your builds" - Care to elaborate? there are many options when it comes to building. you can do 1-8 coils, postion them vertically horizontally, using micro, nano or standard coils. each can be wicked with cotton, yarn, silica, ekowool, or ss mesh for tank style builds.
Care to provide an explanation as to your instructions to work down from 1.4-1.8? Why is this and what are the consequences of going to low in resistance? when using a mechanical mod there is no protection from shorts. a hard short can annoy the battery and batteries can be temperamental when their limits are pushed. Building higher resistance coil's at first allow's you perfect you technique and as the skills develop you can lower your resistance along with it. I typically build around .8ohm after months of practicing, and constantly check my coils to make sure everything is in working order.
which models are compatable with a fuse?the fuse is a drop in piece that goes under the battery, it will work with most if not all mechanical's. the two popular are the short stop and the vape safe. Keep in mind they will only do so much, but some protection for the battery is better then none.
I already have a v2 lava tube?
and I'm under the impression I'd be getting much more vapor production from using a mecahnical mod. However, I don't really know how much better, or how much more heat a mechanical mod can put out versus a mod with varying voltages. Can someone clue me in here?
It is really not aas complicated as people are trying to make it seem. I suspect there is some sort of liability issue if people give too clear of an answer? or information that actually makes sense? I'm asking questions, mindful of the fact that I have "a lot" to learn. Please help me. I don't know how to search for the keywords to get to the ideas mentioned,
