This would be a good spot for someone (who knows where the link is) to post Ohm's Law and the table showing what atty to use for what voltage battery(s).

Ohm's Law Calculator

Sombody posted this but I forgot who. It's atomizers only.

I just threw on one of the newest Joy Mega Attys that holds 2+ml's of Liquid on my SB & Omega @ 6V I'm getting one heck of a vape from this right now.!!!
I just received my BSB today. Included was an unlabeled 510 carto, which I'm enjoying. I've also got 510 Atomizers (reg & LR) which I can use.

But, I'm wondering what kind of adapter you're using to use the eGo/Tornado Mega Atomizers &/or Cartos. I tried to use the battery charger adapter I got from TW. For some reason, I didn't seem to get any current flow with it in place.

Did you perform surgery on the atty? Cut the plastic down? Or use some other kind of extender?

TIA

BTW, this thing is impressive! I like it already! Would love to be able to use my TorneGo Mega atomizers and catomizers with it. Needs an extension, or surgery.

I've been satisfied with AltSmoke's standard Yeti/510 atomizers at 6v for the past few months, although I forget what the ohm is on those.

I didn't take to the LR 510 atties (at 3.7v) that I tried from a major vendor a couple of months back. I think I'll be sticking with AltSmoke's Yeti for a while before I venture onto something new again.

There are two ways to do it, yes use another adapter the batter extension adapter are not the ones, Rob sells these adapters get a 510-910 and another 901-510 so it makes it taller its a double extension to make it work, the second way is to just take a utility knofe and cut off the overhang of the Ego adapter with one or none adapters, OK

Thanks for the response mwa102464. Since I asked the question, I have performed the sugery on a Mega cartomizer, and that's what I've been using since.

The Mega cylinder atomizer is a different challenge, which I haven't attempted yet. Its collar is metallic. And, they're a more expensive item, in the event that I screw it up. I'll probably go the adapter route you suggested for them.

Yeti/510 atomizer = 2.2 - 2.4 ohms (let's say 2.5 ohms). Your 3.0? volt batteries are probably putting out 3.2 volts each for 6.4 volts most of the time.
So something around 16 - 17 watts.

LR 510 atty = 1.8 ohms. Your 3.7 volt battery is probably putting out something like 4.0v.
So something around 9 watts.

...you're going to notice a difference.

The LR attys are designed to approximate 5v vaping with a regular atty.
5v @ 2.5 ohms = ~10 watts

My preference is in the range of 12 - 14 watts. 6v with 901s (3.0 - 3.2 ohm) or most of the regular cartomizers (also 3.0 - 3.2 ohm). I do like the 510s but I can only get them to go for a couple of days.

I have recently tried (and liked) using KR808 cartomizers on my Omega... WOW. I popped the top out of the cartomizer, stuck in the black plastic drip tip. Put the cartomizer on the 510-901 adapter and am using 2 batts @ 3v. Great vapor, nice TH, and easy to refill.

I tried the direct dripping but didn't like the metalic taste the 901HV or the 510 LR and 901LR atomizers have while dripping. Using several cartridge mods was still messy, and I can only fill 3-8 drops, which at 6V vapes quickly. The cartomizer holds the most drops, vapes nicely and with the drip tip, is easy to refill.
