You can also tail pipe from one of your cartomizers.

Pop the tip off and carefully remove any rings and the poly filler. If it is a horizontal coil, you can also remove the thick tube that runs up the center. If it is a vertical coil, or you aren't sure...just leave that tube in there. In the very bottom of most 808 cartos there is also a small patch of cloth like material...leave that in there.

If you've a manual battery you can just drip a few drops right into it and vape. Tail pipe or use a drip tip.

If you have an auto battery...
Drip no more than 3 drops into the little hole at the battery end of the cartomizer.

Let it sit for a moment so those drops can drain down on the coils.

Wipe the carto real good...especially the threaded area where it will screw onto the battery.

Put it on the battery and keep it horizontal for good measure...and vape. You should get several good hits before it starts to go dry.

Thanks guys if i want to try the LR atty it sounds like i can do it on my PT on the 5v 2amp car charger right?

Depends on how LR you mean.....
Down to 2ohms with the battery...probably OK. Get any lower than that and be careful....

The big factor with LR is more about the wiring and switches used than the battery power.

If your PT uses nice nice big wireing and high quality switches...may be fine...if it looks dainty and flimsy...probably not a good idea. Make sense? (Correction: I missed that your PT is 5v, do not use a LR atty with the 5v PT)

Personally, I wouldn't use a LR on a 5v PT. Too risky..not only to your atty but also to your PV. An LR is designed to be used on a true 3.7 volt device like the puresmoker Icon for example. The battery is removed for charging in an independent charger. LR's are to simulate 5v vaping. Hope this helps.

I would stick with standard on your PT.

i just started doing this and it works really well, just remember to drip the liquid onto the tube and it works great. i can only seem to get 2 maybe 3 or it floods though. also the kr8 does have a hole but its sealed, looks like the seals solder and not done very well but i havent had any problems with it compared to the auto battery i killed a week after buying it from overfilling cartos...

Oops, I concur...I missed the 5v part...
If anything you'll probably want to get higher resistence stuff to vape at 5v.
2.8 to 3 ohms.

Because of the cloth patch in the bottom of many KR cartos...I've found I can also drip down the sides 3 to 5 drops with no leaking/flooding. If I drip right down the middle into the tube...must drip more sparingly. I suppose if yours don't have that little cloth patch in the bottom...yep, can be flood city...or even just running right down into the battery threads.

Oh, and some folks leave a tiny bit of the poly-fill down in the very bottom...to prevent leaks and flooding.

Even If i could use a LR atty what would be the advantages of using one in my vaping experience?

It burns hotter. Warmer, and probably a bit more vapor.

Can help bring out the flavor of thick juices...chocolates, caramels, cremes, the sweet stuff. It can also cook some flavors too much.

It can also allow for 'quick burns', and shorter drags...not having to hold the button down quite as long to get it all working optimal.

Bummer :(
Dripping with anything that isn't well sealed...must be very careful or avoid doing it.

Consider a good eGo type passthrough battery if you want something inexpensive that can handle LR stuff down to 2ohms, and is well sealed off. I suppose the next step would be buying or building a mod. Plenty of them you can build fairly easily. See the puck mod, or even the elmo mod (if you don't want an elmo toy as the chassis, you can put it in some other kind of box...but her parts list is great).

For me, stock eGo/Riva is great. I'm not a walking rock concert prop, but I much enjoy vaping :)

I spend more on juices and the occasional LR atty or carto...it keeps me happy :)

Someday I might break down and get a variable mod...but as of this moment...I can't imagine it getting much better tasting/feeling than this. I suppose some people are also after the ultimate nic buzz and things like that...or just enjoy seeing how far they can push the technology.

Well so far i am pleased for what i am trying to do and that's not putting all that dam reg cig smoke in my lungs, i drive a lot and started reg smoking way to much, just think now that my 18mg carto's are to much think ill try 11mg because i used to smoke ultra lights anyway so no sense in upping my nicotine if i don't have to and prevent getting used to more nic lol
